7 day cruise.....how many swimsuits???

I brought 3, wore 2. DH brought 2. We didn't have any problem using the line in the shower stall, I don't remember having to put on a wet bathing suit or anything.

ONE EACH Never ever in my life have any of us ever thought of bringing more on any vacation-I guess I just dont get it.

I'm bringing 3, maybe 4. Because I like my swimsuits and I like variety. But I pack way more than your average person because dressing up is fun for me and I always buy new "trip" clothes.

We all brought 4 & wore 4. Disclaimer: we drive from Tampa & overpack. :) That being said, we spent several days in swimsuits on our Eastern. Got up on Sea days, wore swim suits to breakfast & swam after breakfast. St Johns? Needed a swimsuit. CC? Same deal.

Just think of it as any vacation. Never would I even dream of packing more than two at an absolute most.

If you think you are going to live in the pool, jacuzzi, rainforest room, and beaches, I could see bringing two (one to wear in case one is still drying); otherwise, just one.

I'm with you. One suit. I've never had to put on a wet suit. I hang it in the bathroom and it dries. I personally don't like bringing more than one because it would mess up my tan line and it's unnecessary.

Here's another shocker. I will use the same bathing suit multiple years!!!

:faint:

We just did a 7 day Caribbean. I brought one and DW brought two. Mine was always dry the next day, but that was because it was almost dry when I took it off. I did wash it out in the shower a couple of times, the fastest way to dry a suit is to roll it up real tight in a dry towel then hang it. Event a suit that starts out wet should be dry by morning.

That said, I wish I had two. One for on board and one for excursions. We did snorkeling twice and the beach another time and climbed the falls at another port, so we needed swim gear at every port. It would have been nice to have a clean suit for the pools.

Maybe I've been doing this all wrong, but we only bring 1 each, in fact I, personally only own 1 bathing suit, lol.

Lol me too!

Ok, so it seems I'm the only one who brings 7 suits for 7 days? They are so easy to pack, there are always holes to fill with a bikini top.
I don't like the chlorine smell and as the tap water in the cabin has a very strong chlorine smell and taste, too, there's no point in washing them in the cabin.
As our tap water is chlorine free, I just can't get used to the smell and taste (that's why I can't drink the table water we usually get in US restaurants, too, or have icecubes in my drink)

And another thing is, I can't stand looking at the pictures afterwards with me wearing the same things every day, I know it's weird but I'm still working on my shoe packing and as soon as I'm down to 5 pairs for a week I will start to work on the bathing suit problem :lmao:.

I bring seven suits for me, 4 for my husband and 4 or 5 for my daughter.

We only bring one suit each. In fact, we only own one suit each. Don't see the point in spending the money on more than one!
