7 am EMH--reports and/or pictures?

So, here is my situation. I am staying off-site, but at the Hilton at DTD that offers EMH. I will be there the week before Easter (March 29-April 1). On Tuesday and Wednesday when we will be at MK, EMH starts at 7 am. We are THERE! Here is my "dilemma": I'm pretty sure we can get FP+ for the rides that we want, except for A&E. They meet during EMH. Ok, good. I've read some reports that the "everyone" dashes for 7DMT and A&E first thing even during EMH. I'm wondering, does that still apply during a 7 am EMH? How empty REALLY is MK during a 7 am EMH? If we are unable to secure a FP for A&E through diligent checking, does it make sense to go to them first thing in the EMH?

Thanks in advance for all the info. Also, if anyone has pictures of the park that early, I'd love to see them. I'm also curious what sort of Photopass pictures we can get that early. I'd LOVE one with the sun coming up! THANKS!!

Any pictures at all of sunrise in the park? I'm hoping I get a gorgeous payoff for going that early! and I checked (OCD me!), sunrise that day will be around 7:10 am!

I haven't yet done the 7AM EMH but I will tell you from many years of experience at the parks, the earlier you get in, the better. I would suggest Wednesday to do it as mid-week at MK is always going to be the slower time because everyone usually hits MK the very first day on their trip. That is a busy week as you're headed in to spring break season but you would definitely have your best opportunity at that time IMO. I don't know that I've ever seen 7DMT with less than an hour wait. We were there in Sept. last year at midnight and it still had a 90 minute wait. Hope that helps and good luck!

That was our experience in 2012. Empty. Completely empty - our most productive EMH ever. I don't recall how many rides we did that morning, but it was a lot. By 10am, the park was packed.

We just did this last week. We arrived at 6:35 and were there with about 60 people. The park opened and we went to 7DMT and were on and off by 7:22. We then did Peter Pan (twice), Pooh, Buzz, Speedway, Tea Cups, Dumbo, met Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Minnie, rode Small World, Haunted Mansion, and ate at Sleep Hollow and was out of the MK by 10:45.

Agree that it was our most productive EMH also. We drove all night from NC, pulled into the first parking space at MK around 6:00am(?), and got a ton accomplished before 11:am. We scooted out as the park attendance swelled, monorailed over to Epcot, walked leisurely through the flower and garden exhibits, exited to international gateway to the Boardwalk, ate pizza on the boardwalk as we watched the ducks by the lake. Best day ever!

Do they do the RD show if it's dark? Looks to me that it could be dark then. I hope the park is that empty for us in a couple of weeks. We will be doing a 7am EMH too.

Oh the pictures are gorgeous! And I thought I saw a photo pass photographer already set up. I hope our pics are as beautiful as yours! Also Wow everyone seems to accomplish so much. I'm glad to hear confirmation that it actually is "empty". I'm not sure I've ever seen the park totally empty.

This is encouraging! Planning on doing 7:00am EMH at MK on DD's birthday, leaving the park by 10:00am and hoping to be able to get a lot accomplished in that time despite being a crowd level 9 day.

Yep, Photopass photographer was set up as we walked in.

They did not do the show last week...but there were many many CMs on Main Street handing out stickers, interacting with kids, a very cool atmosphere with only about 80 people coming in with us.

Wow definitely doing AM EMH at MK then - I'm there the week after Easter and am a bit worried about crowds - but as I shouldn't have any issue with doing 7am EMH thanks to jet lag will make sure I hit AM EMH!

This is from several years ago on New Year's Day around 7:10am. It was worth getting up early for us!
