7 a.m. Chef Mickey Ressie - time I should get taxi to come

7 days and I'm at the happiest place on earth!!!

I have 7 a.m. ressie for Chef Mickey's on Sunday 1/25 and I'm staying at Caribbean Beach Resort CBR. I figure the only way to get there is by taxi so what time should I ask them to arrive for pickup and deliver to the Contemporary? And does anyone know how much it will cost one-way for two adults?

Why is the only way to get there a taxi? Save the expense and hassle of a cab and just take Disney transportation. It's up and operating from 6am on, specifically so folks can get to their character breakfasts in the morning!

I thought the buses only ran an hour before the early entry opening and since the parks open normally next week at 9 a.m. I thought that the earliest the buses would run was at 7 a.m. Is it true that I'll be able to catch the bus as early as 6:00 a.m? That would be fantastic!!

So then would I take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then ride the monorail to the Contemporary or should we just walk from MK?

You would have to take the bus to TTC then take the monorail to Contempory. However, I thought the buses started running at 7:00 a.m., not 6:00 a.m.; but I could be wrong.

I would take a taxi since you are going so early.

We had two early character meals.

The first time the front desk at OKW swore to us that there would be character buses running that early. There were none.

The second time, the front desk told me they couldn't confirm if the character buses were running. Then the bellhops messed up our luggage pickup so we couldn't even get a regular bus to MK in time. However, they were great about it and sent a van to pick us up and we made our breakfast in time.
