We have 7:30 am ressies at Cape May then want to go to Epcot. What are our parking options? Should we just take a cab that day? Would I have to carry booster seats for our 4 year old twins? How long can we park at the beach club? Will it take a long time to move the rental car over to the Epcot lot? :confused3

Booster seats are not required for 4 year olds in Florida, so from a legal standpoint you do not need them.

You cannot leave your car at the Beach Club though while you go to Epcot for the day.

For ease, I would just get a cab to the BC then walk to Epcot and take your resort transportation back to your hotel when you're finished.

I was wondering the same thing. If we are DVC owners than could we not park at the beach club?

I would drive to BC for breakfast and then....either pay to valet park (about $13 plus tip) or move my car over to Epcot after breakfast. If the park opens at 9, you'll be in plenty of time if you move your car.

Now why aren't we allowed to park there as owners or dining guest?

we changed our ressie to our home resort AKL looks like better breakfast spread and has better reviews so it wont matter if we are parked there.

You can park there free while dining. When you are ready to leave the resort for the theme park you must take your car with you so there will be room in the parking lot for other Disney Vacation Club members* staying at that resort, and dining guests.

* Sorry, but DVC members don't actually own anything. After X years the membership ends and you have to rejoin if you want to continue enjoying those benefits.
