We can't get into Tusker House for breakfast . . . So -- with a 7:30 Boma ADR and, if we drive, do you think it's possible to make RD at AK?

Thanks.

We did Boma for breakfast Sunday am and it was the best breakfast buffet we have had at Disney. The food was fantastic and did not have that African taste like dinner did. The sliced turkey was moist and delicious. That being said, we were seated within 5 min or less. It took me 30 minutes to eat and DH 45 minutes to eat. We weren't really hurrying either as we were leaving for home when we finished. I would think if you hurried, you should be out of there in 45 minutes. Our waiter brought our check halfway through our breakfast and told us to take our time but he was bringing it early in case we were in a hurry. It was a very good experience and if it weren't so expensive, I would do it every visit.

Thanks webprinter for sharing the details of your own experience.

I feel assured that, if we don't "dilly dally", we can be in and out in 45 minutes, which would be perfect. :cloud9:

Thanks for the review. :thumbsup2 I have an Boma b-fast ARD for out last morning at WDW so it is good to know we will be having a great meal as out last there this year.

We had a 7:30 am adr at Boma last year and made it to AK for rope drop without any problem - we used the Disney bus system from AKL to AK and arrived in plenty of time.

For a 9 am RD? Absolutely. You'll be one of the first people in Boma (assuming they open at 7:30) and it won't be crowded yet so your biggest wait will depend on the waitress bringing drinks and the check. Just ask for the check early on in the meal so you don't have to wait at the end. From there it is a short ride to the AK and you should have plenty of time.

:banana:Thanks everyone for the reply -- At first, we were disappointed that we couldn't get an early Tusker House ADR, but we are now actually looking forward to Boma, instead :lovestruc

Golf4Food -- Your dining review was great -- :worship: and particularly relevant to us -- Besides the obvious -- Boma breakfast -- you also reviewed 4 other restaurants that we are trying for the first time on this trip: Tutto Italia, GFC, Sci-Fi (we have always eaten at 50's primetime, in the past) and, last but certainly not least -- Jiko!!

We decided to upgrade to DxDP and are trying quite a few restaurants that we've never experienced == YAY!!
