Almost a month to go.........:cool1:

Castaway Cay members: Did you receive your DCL Puzzle? it has Captain Mickey, Donald, Goofy and the Wonder/Magic ship. We received it in the mail yesterday and my ds, 6, put it together with help from dad.:thumbsup2

It is so cool!!! I will try and post a picture.

Thanks DCL for my free puzzle!

Is anyone staying at Port Canaveral area the night before cruise? I just got my family booked at Country Inn and Suites. We plan on visiting the Kennedy Space Center before the cruise.

We'll be at USF for a few days............

What are your plans for Nassau? We were going to do Blackbeard island excursion through DCL but are now just thinking of exploring the "Dig" in Atlantis.

Has anyone done the "Dig" on their own and not through Disney? wondering how much the cost is for adult & child.

I have made no plans for any excursions which is unusual for me. We've been and stayed at the Atlantis Resort a few years back. It is amazing and very large. I just am not sure if I want to pay what it costs to use the resort for a day. We've also done the dolphins in Nassau which is fun. On different trips there, we've shopped the straw market and also snorkeled. Some say to stay on the ship and enjoy the peace that day. I've been reading recent trip reports to help me decide.:confused3

JoAnn, do you think the Dig is worth the price? I did a search on the price and I think it's about 29.00 for adult. We have done Atlantis years ago but just went through casino and we have stayed on the ship a few other times. My kids are older now and thought they might enjoy the Dig.

I am undecided:confused:

Honestly, I'm not sure what the dig is, is it the underground aquarium area? I had toured the entire grounds a few years back but I think they have continued to upgrade it. The grounds are great and I know the water park area is great for kids, so if that's what it is, it's definitely worth it.

Yes, the underground aquarium area...sorry, I should have been more clear. I don't want to do the pools and slides. Just wanted to see the aquarium and head back to the ship to hang out & eat:)

ps. Hey, I just got a ring on my doorbell and the UPS man handed me my cruise documents:banana:  Wahoo!! cruise is getting closer!!

we also have not planned anything for nassau..we went a few years back and did a dolphin swim. atlantis looks cool, just not sure i want to spend the $ on what it cost for the day. this trip it is just my son and I so we may just hang out on the ship.

someone asked about pre-cruise stay...we are staying at the Residence Inn saturday night. marriott rewards points paying for that room!

Less than a month!! Whoo-hoo!

See ya soon!

Yes, they should be coming soon! I booked with DU and this is the first time I have gotten them this early...usually, the documents arrived a few weeks before. I was thinking maybe next monday.

Keep an eye out for the mail guy;)

So just 3 weeks away til our cruise and wanted to just touch bases on who would like to participate in our Fish Extender exchange thingy:) I have some really cute Disney magnets to share too...

Is anyone making door signs for their doors? I will be working on a few designs this weekend. It is fun to decorate the stateroom door and helps the kids find our room.

Can't believe this cruise will be here before we know it:woohoo: :woohoo:
