Hey Izzi! (even if you are MIA!) Andrew was thinking of you today! We were at Hallmark and he saw some Godiva Biscuits!

Hi Everybody,

I was playing around with Photoshop and here's what I came up with. If you all like, we can use it as our logo:

smallworldlogocopy.jpg

And here's one that I made with some landmarks from the cities/countries that we'll visit during the cruise:

smallworldlandmarks.jpg

Those are both GREAT! :worship: :thumbsup2
How will we ever choose?!? :confused3

Why choose? Let's use both.

The 2nd will make for a great T-Shirt design.

Wow, these are great!!! I love them both!!! Thanks Mike!!!:cheer2:

Wow......I have been gone for almost 10 hours and only missed 4 posts, this has got to be a record for this thread. :confused3
DD & I went to a retirement party tonight.

The Eastern sounds great, I personaly expect the thread to slow down a bit, its a marathon to 2010 not a sprint!!:rotfl2:

Just checking in to bump myself up the posting ladder! I can't keep up with the thread. If I don't check it for a few days there are 20 new pages! At that rate.... how many will there be by 2010? :teacher:

Do keep checking in...it will slow down now and you will be able to catch up.

Their dropping the pirate posts at 100 from the next thread part 2 and only going for 1,000's to cut down on the fluff, so you will be able to keep up.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye,

Pirates will only be posted at the 1000 post !

I guess it's a general concensus that too much "fluffing" was going on around pirate: time and ketching up is hard for some of us so posting pirate: on the 1000, like some other threads do, is a great idea (thanks Andrew). In all honesty, I'm having a devil of a time keeping up with all of you, whew!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Although it has been quiet this weekend.

Where is Izzi????

Anyway, if you want me to go back to posting pirate: on the hundreds I will. Just let me know. If not matey's, it'll be on the 1000's.

Hey Izzi! (even if you are MIA!) Andrew was thinking of you today! We were at Hallmark and he saw some Godiva Biscuits!

Morning all I was not quite MIA I was actually lurking in the back ground - hence the dramatic fall in post numbers :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I did warn you all that Josh's laptop was sent off for a service so hence the postings level will fall, UNTIL I GET IT BACK, as I can't take being in the playroom with the kids for too long. But don't dispair I'll catch up during the week, WHEN I'M AT WORK :rotfl2: :rotfl2: and hopefully we'll have the laptop back sometime next week.

BTW FAB idea about the pirate: at the 1000's only posts.

Maybe every 4th day could be bathing suit day!:rotfl: . The only problem with that is that I have to order room service....no bathing suits in the dining room....hey, but then there are those Mickey Bars at room service. This is sounding better and better!:surfweb:

Hey you just go for it Harole Ann

THE STRIKE IS OVER!!!!!!!!!
After 57 days, we voted today and accepted the contract with a 74% approval! We go back to work on Monday! Thanks for the support everyone! :cool1: :yay: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

That IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC NEWS but I shall miss you chatting in the afternoon......but mork work=more money=cruise paid for :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Okay, how about this question...........

What's everyone doing for New Year's Eve?:cool1:

No plans yet but as we'll be at home this year I may just go to bed. I don't really like NYE when we're at home I prefer them when we're away on holiday.

Having done NYE millenium in Australia and NYE in Canada, EPCOT and Australia again I have to admit that being on holiday is a great way to celebrate NYE

Barb do you fight the crowds at WDW? at Easter time? I would love to do the world at Christmas time or Easter one time but I'm afraid of crowds. I'm I'm not doing this: :scared1: I'm doing this: :furious:

We always go to WDW during the Easter/Pesach or Christmas break as that's when the kids have time off school. The crowds are manageable but we don't do the parks commando style and we always stay on park property. We get tickets with hopper facility and hit a parks in the morning go back to the hotel on the afternoon and go back to a park in the evening. I also make sure that we have ADRs for EVERY evening meal EVERY day.

I guess being park veterans (which we all are) helps with the planning, knowing that you can't do everything in one trip.

Well that's cool!:thumbsup2 I haven't sailed on a holiday week yet.....:lovestruc

We did the Christmas Magic 10 day special in 2006. I have to say although the boat looked lovely with the decorations I don't remeber the cruise being all tha special. In fact I'd say that our Med cruise was a million times better but I think that's probably all down to the people on board :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Hey Izzi! (even if you are MIA!) Andrew was thinking of you today! We were at Hallmark and he saw some Godiva Biscuits!

Ok Carolyn....Godiva Biscuits ????? a new one on me. I've heard of Godiva chocolate...yukky nasty stuff :sad2: :sad2: but not Godiva Biscuits.

As you're not going to be round so much I'll have to keep my biscuit selection simple.........so for the next couple of days it's going to be plain chocolate digestives...yum, yum.

I have to sleepishly admit that we will be on the Disney Magic -- we've had this NYE Western cruise planned for a few years now!

I've had a very busy weekend, but I will try to load my photos from Halloween night and post a few over the next few days . . .
cant wait to see them Julie!!

Okay, how about this question...........

always stay close to home now that we are old!! Usually friends house a few blocks away- in bed by 12:30.. we're old!!!!!!

Mike I love both logos as you tell!!!

Oh wow, that is my dream, to be at WDW for Christmas and New Years. Maybe someday......:cloud9:
Mike, I like them both. Do you think maybe you can make the graphics of the stops at each country a little smaller so they fit under the title in the white space on either side of the ship and don't extend past the title. Just a suggestion - I'm not very creative at all.:confused3 I'll leave it to you. Thanks so much for doing this.:flower3:

Ditto!WE have been to Disney for all holidays except NYEve!! We always travel in high season because I teach. WE are in Disney every Easter and love it. Im not sure about this year as we just bought furniture and have tuition for the first time with Carley in Catholic High School.I am also feeling the economy guilt! I think if you are veterans and stay on property and have seen it all, the crowds are not a concern because you flow with them. We are always in the park at opening, leave mid day to enjoy the pool and come back to epcot for dinner each night, and more park time.

I am sooooooooo loving the idea of photopass onboard, it will just make the whole process so much easier and we'll all probably end up getting all the photos instead of being selective as all you'll have to schlap home is a CD :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Welcome back! It was quiet weekend. ;)

I agree that a CD will be much better! On our 15 day cruise, we only bought 4 Shutters photos. (Not counting vow renewal pics, but that's another story.) Now I'm sure that we'll probably take advantage of more of the photo ops and pick up the CD.

Don't you just "know" that you'll have EVERY photo taken possible and get the whole lot on CD and then probably on get 2 of them printed when you get home....but you'll still feel like yo got your money's worth because you got a CD with loads of "possible" photos on it

GOOD MORNING!!! I'd forgotten how early 4:00AM is and how dark it is outside! Going back to work after a strike is sort of like the first day of school. You don't know what to expect!
