BLA BLA BLA

Hey how come Im not listed on the first page?

Who's in charge here?

Who can I blame!

:scratchin Robert - is someone trying to tell you something? :lmao:

Robert Harrods and Portabello Road are in different parts of London and "bullet train" ? wrong country....that's Japan not UK :rotfl2:

I would say DLP for 2 days is more than enough...I'm not a fan of DLP at all :sad2: We did a 3 day weekend August 2005 and also stayed Castle Club and other than the hotel I was not impressed. I found the parks dirty and we'd been in WDW in April of that year and Ethan, who was 7 at the time, had fantastic interaction with the characters. The character meet & greet at DLP is all elbows and pushing    The friendliness of CM's I found to be so so and the food is very cheap and chearfull. DLP is very do-able for a day trip for us but as a result of this visit it is very definately not on our list of family visits.

You know - my friend kept telling me that DLP was do-able in one day but I didn't believe her and had to experience it for myself. I now tell everyone who asks - this is what happened to me but you may have a better experience. I did like the experience of the park but between DL Original and WDW I can take those. I would prefer to spend my time in Paris. In fact, I've updated my Bucket List to include 2 weeks in Paris - sometime in the next 15 years while I can still walk it.

I was pretty much the same way:laughing:
Good to see you here:thumbsup2

Now we have to convince more pirates to take the plunge;)
Dh has suggested taking up a collection to pay for Tom31b and family to join us (our personal cruise director):rotfl2:

OMG Mike, DH and the kids absolutely loved the Jolly Pirate excursion in Aruba. It was the highlight of that cruise for us:cloud9: The pics from that excursion were awesome too.
We are so excited to be cruising with you guys again too:woohoo:
I guess we can leave most of the sunscreen home for this one:rotfl:

Good to see you too:thumbsup2

You'd think I be used to fast moving threads by now:lmao:

:scared1: Laurie - if you do that, then Mike would be out of a job! He's been "volunteered" for the followingby Julie and myself for:

1. to head the Fearless leader job
2. Co-head the "Blinged-out Propeller Hat Photo Opportunity"
3. Leader of the Baltic Man-Thong Parade

:scratchin let me see, did I miss anything else Julie?

Oh yes and keeping an eye out for something else, slips my mind now. HHHMMMM, wonder if Linda knows what Mike has gotten himself into? :lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl: Hey I remember that situation with an old boyfriend :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No problem. I thought it was the thought of having the house to yourself that mad you go a bit mad for the moment. :lmao:

How did you know ???? Was it that obvious :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey this is a family Thread:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM:dance3:

What you drinking ???

:scratchin HHHMMMM.......I must not be degenerate enough because this TOTALLY slipped over my head! :confused3

Sign me off as Dazed, Confused and not degenerate enough.......

Don't worry....I was in the middle of it and was getting lost. :confused3 :lmao: :rotfl2:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Way too funny!!! Doctors that work on SUnday. I can't believe she found a doctor that works on a Saturday. :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:
I was wondering the same thing! :goodvibes

Well Its worth a try,............... Ms three back to back cruises, hard to feel sorry for you as well,..............:rotfl2:

Yes but Andrew, she's traveling in cat 10's - so she downgraded -that means she was making provisions. Got your back Julie! Your three cruises cost for his one Cat 3! :lmao:

But I am not asking for anyone to feel sorry for me . . .:goodvibes

You downgraded remember? ;)

If you didn't have such a tin ear, Andrew, you would know that I don't talk like that! There is no Manhattan accent . . .:thumbsup2

Julie, you have no accent. You could be a Midwesterner!

We do it on Nov 2nd I think First Sunday in November:idea:

I'm still not use to that.

Busy day. DD's choir had their workshop today and her being in ensemble they start at 8:45 AM !:scared1: Really don't want to gt up early on a Saturday. Bribed dd to get out of bed with cinammon melts at McDonalds! Then for lunch she requested a tuna sub from Subway! Went to the grocery store and did some errrands. Tomorrow I'm not going any where. I've got a ton of laundry to do. Yuck!

Laurie, glad to see you guys booked!

Mickey's Baltic Ballyhoo--- I like it! :thumbsup2

Hey Laura! I saw a lady at Michael's today who on first glance looked like you! But I took a real good look and it wasn't so you don't have a twin this way!

Our Walmart has the parking lot all fenced off. I guess they are finally making it a supercenter. It was a pain to get in.

That was me yesterday. Why can't someone come in here and do the :laundy: for me? :confused3

Why not???

:woohoo: :yay: Congrats Harole Ann!

Way to go Harole Ann :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Ditto! :thumbsup2

So how much do we chat.....well 1st Baltic cruise post count = 1256, Mickey's Baltic Ballyhoo !! (maybe) 2124 :woohoo: :woohoo:

You know :scratchin - about 1/3 of that was added since Friday night! :rotfl:

I am a first time poster. If you cann't beat them join them. I lost my wife to the Disney threads several years ago. I am thankfull in some ways, I don't have to talk all night. I can watch TV as she is on the boards. I am here to see what this boards are really all about. AND, be more a part of our next vacation.:cool1:

Ah! So you have seen the light O' Wise One! :darth:

So :scratchin - which one is :yoda: and which one is :chewy:

Rum looks like water and vodka too. :drinking:

Yeah! Dirty Water! :lmao: :rotfl2:

OK folks, that ends it for me - I'm all caught up for the moment and seeing as the other side of the pond wakes up even an hour earlier, we might 40 pages to catch up too! :scared1:

Ta Ta for now - this is a real strange one for us - all the kids home and actually getting along for once! I'm impressed. We're all bored too so we may end up going to The Block at Orange for the evening just to burn off some steam. Recession and all but I'm going shopping!

Later Gators!

I'm impressed that kids are actually getting along, especially on a Sat. night. Have fun shopping. :thumbsup2

Yeah! I am too must be that they are having their own mini-recession and so they have to get along or the bank of mom and pop won't be lending! :rotfl2: Although, it does give me hope. This may be a sign that eventually kids do get along. One can only hope!

OK - had to sign back on as we've all agreed we're going but probably be another 20 minutes before we even go. This will be interesting. Andrew the oldest will be there (driving his own car) while the rest of us pile into one of the cars and takes us down there. DH has learned the truth of the saying......if Mama ain't happy........NOBODY'S HAPPY!

Such a wise man! ;)

Tina - I've been told that my doppleganger lives in Whittier, CA only about 10 minutes away from me. One time I missed her by 3 minutes. The guy asked me what I forgot and how'd I manage to change my clothes so quickly!

Oh yeah. I got my retirement statement today for the 3rd quarter. It's a defined contribution plan kinda like a 401K . I get a 4 to 1 match by my employer for up to 2.5% of my salary. Thought it would be really bad, but although I did lose, it was only 7K. Back in 2000 my account took a 20K hit. The large caps was where the big loss was. I've also got 30% of my account in safe stuff so I guess all in all it's not that bad.

Kathryn(DD9) and I are going to go to dinner at a noodle place that we love tonight! Andrew is making dinner for youth at our church (Alana(DD14) included. They just finished up a 30 hour famine. They have had no food except juices and water since noon yesterday. They are raising money for World Vision.

Dinner went extremely well. I had made lasagna for a main course and cannoli for desert. The cannoli recipe is one I learned on the EB PC cruise. The group had gone to do a corn maze and I showed up while they were gone to cook. They came back and said it smelled great and that this would be the hardest part of the 30 hours. One asked what cannoli was and as soon as I said it was an Italian desert they said "STOP, don't say anything more!!". There was 12 teenagers, the Youth Group Advisor and myself. We had NO leftovers. A few of them said it was the best they had ever tasted.

I am afraid to look at mine. I have access to the figures online and am to chicken to look.:scared1: :scared1:

I knew I could count on you for this and the kool aid picture. :thumbsup2
:cool2: That's why you all keep me around, isn't it? ;)
