:scared1: OMG! THis time you can't blame me - I left if on page 115.

OK off to ketchup.

:scratchin - Guess I'm not the only one bored out of my gourd.

WOW, 10 pages while I was good! Very good! :thumbsup2
We're trying to get our camper fixed up for a friend of mine to use. He was staying with a friend of his for a couple months but discovered that their lease did not allow him to stay there. (subsidized housing) He has no money to put a deposit down on an apartment, since we've been on strike, so he is going to live in our camper for a couple months. He has another friend that will let him park it on his property. We haven't used it in 2 years, so it needs some TLC.

Kathryn(DD9) and I are going to go to dinner at a noodle place that we love tonight! Andrew is making dinner for youth at our church (Alana(DD14) included. They just finished up a 30 hour famine. They have had no food except juices and water since noon yesterday. They are raising money for World Vision.

Barb todays biscuits were rich tea and ALL our family LOVE biscuits so I don't mind sharing...I'm a nice mummy

You are only being nice because it's the weekend and they left you for a couple of hours. I would have been nice too in that situation.
But....I don't think I know rich tea biscuits. I'm sure we'll get a 'googled' pic of them soon. :rotfl:
Your wish is my command!

A joke on our TV tonight was good.

Barack Obama is going to have a landslide,

But if the CIA, miss him on that they will try the standard 'accident'.:lmao:

PS

Only a joke and i am voting for the monster raving loony party as usual.

So Andrew, lets not beat around the bush - which one is the worse loooney Party? ;)

We did not have VAT added to anything on the Baltic's cruise this past July.

Night Miss Isabelle

So

We are going to DL in December. Anyone live near enough for a mini meet??:mickeyjum

Teresa - I do! As well as others - let me know when you decide and where you will be staying at. I am about 10 minutes away. If you need any other info I can help with that! :thumbsup2

Greetings:yay:

We've officially transfered our dummy booking to this cruise and are so exited to see so many from the EB PC Repo:woohoo:

Do I pm the OP with my info for page 1 ?

It's me (Laurie), DH (Darren), DS (Andrew-will be 16 in 2010), DD (Kelly -will be 13 in 2010).

We're living in Northern Viginia, but DH and I are originally from NY (me- Long Island and Darren -Yorktown Heights).

We are hoping to arrive in London a couple days before the cruise so that we can sightsee a little. Has anybody made plans for a pre-cruise London stay yet ?
WElcome!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

I am a first time poster. If you cann't beat them join them. I lost my wife to the Disney threads several years ago. I am thankfull in some ways, I don't have to talk all night. I can watch TV as she is on the boards. I am here to see what this boards are really all about. AND, be more a part of our next vacation.:cool1:

Ok, I'm finally ketchuped up and the above is my DH. We're here in Atlanta waiting for our DD to get back from dinner so we jumped on the computers.........I'm exhausted......:confused3 ........this thread is going at breakneck pace!:scared:

Our poll is finished, I think, but I guess we should do a vote over and add the newer ideas...........what do you think?? We still need to put Mike's graphics up as well and then merge the two ideas together. I'll do it when I get home....Mike........could you post your Small World Viking ship again? It will take me forever to find it at this point!

Hope all are well this weekend........... to Sallie.........we have one more day down here and then we'll fly home tomorrow and back to work on Monday!:teacher:

I think it may rain tonight. I know, that's so odd for Seattle!

Hey I lived in Tacoma but drove to Seattle all the time. At one point I hoped to retire there. But my travellust has sidelined my retirement plans.

Congrats Mike - ye be a regular stinking, thievin' pirate: ;)

don't you just have the nerve sneaking in here! ;)

He's a pirate:

It comes from a good friend of mine who is a DIS'r also. (Tigger&Belle) It was actually her tag first. She gave it to me as a gift after me lusting over it for awhile! It was a high point in my life when I actually got to ride in The Braille Van!
Here is the explanation in her words!

It was just another of my blonde moments. I was driving my then new van and I have the steering wheel volumne controls for the radio, etc. On those controls there are lines, dots, etc. My initial thought was that lines and dots were braille. After driving for a couple minutes it dawned on me what a stupid thought that had been.

But the thing that cracked me up just as much was that several people that I told it to didn't get why it wouldn't be braille and I had to explain it to them, so at least I do know that some people are ditzier than I am! My blind neighbor thinks I'm totally crazy.

Took me a minute too and I'm not even blonde (at the moment) or drinking kool-aid! :rotfl2:

Ok I've been on 3 DCL cruises but I need an explaination....what is The Bedazzler Photo Opp ? and Yes I can use my imagination :3dglasses :3dglasses :3dglasses

Oh I was just talking about "someone" organizing a photo opportunity for us. ON the EB PC a lot of women dressed up as Princesses and had our photo taken by Shutters. So, seeing as most of us are traveling and therefore must adhere to weight restrictions, I figured why not have a photo opp with Bling - seeing as Sallie is  about blinging up a propeller hat for Mike and Mike getting to use his Bling-Bling. Why not have the rest of us join in and have a Bling-Bling Photo Opp? Sound good? Maybe on one of the last sea days?

Hey, Hey ME TOO, ME TOO I been tee total since Ethan was born (well other than the odd and I mean very odd sip of champagne

 Ya know - it might not be a bad idea to admit to imbibing sometimes otherwise if everyone knows we are like this natrually, they'll have an excuse NOT to be around us! :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Sorry I find that just toooooooooooo funny, I know I shouldn't laugh but it just so reminds me of me when I was in my late teens/early twenties. Thank god I have boys :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Yeah, well I have one of those - he's now 22 and gave my youngest a hard time when she was leaving for homecoming dance. She was all dressed up and he comes running out of the house, she lowers her window and has to go through the 3rd degree. Then he ends with this warning: You'd better not dance with any boys. I'll know - I have spies all over the place. DD just looks at him and rolls the window up. About 1/2 way to the dance hall, she asks me - does he really have spies there? Did I mention April is still a bit naive?

But our cruise is first so it gets first dibs on the collections. :rotfl2:
that works for me! :thumbsup2

Oh joy an extra hour in bed :cool1: :cool1:
or an extra hour on the thread! Think how many pots you could get in!

And Caropooh - did you decide?????
No, I just can't come up with a good name! :sad2:

Hi Ken! We know you will never keep up with JoAnn, but who can?? I gave up on that a long time ago, but I love chatting with her when I get the chance and it will be so much fun to be cruising with the two of you again.

Have a safe trip home!

Snow is coming the beginning of the week, so they say...joy, joy!

Aloha,
If it's not a problem:confused3 I think we should do a do over on the polls. Add new names to vote for and give everyone one more try at voting for their favorite name for our cruise.
Could I have a pirate name? If I could I would like to be pirate:Pirate Big Kahuna.

aloha,
hawaiian mickey

I think we should do a new poll with the top 3 or 4 names from the poll and the new ones that have been provided after the poll started. :thumbsup2

Cool pirate: name.

at least Kool_Aid packages are nice and flat!
But I don't mind something bulky to pack to take with me, it leaves more space in the suitcase to bring things home.
This summer we took a 4 pound jar of jelly beans and a huge bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup, along with other things, to our friends. The holes left in the suitcases were just what we needed to bring things home.

well, vodka and water look an awful lot alike! :lmao:

Rum looks like water and vodka too. :drinking:

only a couple to go....fluffing at it's best although someone did post that I can't fluff when I'm by myself...thank you so whoever that was

That be me - and your right - it isn't fluffing - HOWEVER, if you answer your own question, then that might be getting into a grey area! :lmao:

:woohoo:  :welcome: Laurie, Darren and Family! YOu'll all get ot meet my kids - April will be 17 then but that's ok - maybe they'll hit it off!

We've been to DLP twice and I can wait to go back for a few more years. We were 1st there 3 weeks after they opened and then again 5½ years ago.
We stayed at the Newport Bay Beach Club and I was less than impressed, hotel was not well kept. I was glad I had a half price room and free entry into the parks (at least for me) after seeing how bad the hotel was. It was disappointing to see it run down. I hope they've improved the hotels since we were there. But it wasn't just that one, it was all of them.

I'm waiting for my brother to ask me if we are going to make a trip over there since we will be in London. He and his family have never been to DLP.

I think you will be fine for a week in London, even with the little ones. I would recommend you take 1 or 2 days and travel outside the city. We love Stratford for a relaxing day out - that is a very doable day trip from London on the train.

You know - DDs' and I mention that to all we meet. We stayed last year at the hotel that resembles the Wilderness - Sequoia?????? :confused3 I DID NOT LIKE IT. My own personal experience with the hotel staff as less than amicable. They were NOT nice -barging in every day and telling us we had to leave the hotel so that they could clean it. One day they did not even wait until we left - they just started cleaning while we were still in PJs! :scared1:

Tried to talk to management but they were unresponsive. I had to get all ghetto (read L.A. ghetto) on them to bring us an extra roll of TP. And I don't mean one on the roll and one extra - I had ONLY the one on the roll. It was a bit strange. But not as strange and loud as the phone call they received after it happend a second time. We had two rooms.

We stayed there because for a family of 6, the passes would have been a bit more. Being DVC members, we got them included in the stay. But, knowing what I know now, I will stay in Paris and take the train in in the future. Been there, done that, can wait to do it again. But I did like DLP! It was cute and quaint.
