We were together in Spirit in 2005,

Now I do not know why so much money is flowing into the dollar, but I am not too worried, I call it a honeymoon period, not sure how long it will last....

A week or so after the election???

I am not going to say who the wrong person will be, just you Americians always vote for the wrong one,

No matter whoever you vote for the government always get in!!

Sigh.... I guess this time it's a question of whether we're going to vote for "The" wrong one or "That" wrong one :rolleyes1

My son is in Germany right now and I asked his host family the same thing about the election. They said from the news etc most of Germany is hoping one candidate is elected over another by a wide margin. I dont want to say a name to start anything but if anyone wants to know send me a pm.

Oh, I know who you're talking about. But don't tell anyone - they'll change their vote just cause to spite them "furigners"... :rolleyes1

The biggest problem for the USA is if it is not a wide margin and there is a debate again that could cause a lot of damage.

Excuse me, I have it on the best of authority that all of the senior citizens in Palm Beach Florida, and election officials in Ohio, have gotten together on a new, accurate and reliable voting scheme. They'll be voting on individual Etch-A-Sketch toys. The polls will be directly supervised by Al Gore, John Kerry, Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. And it will be reported on by Fox-News and MSNBC. What could possibly go wrong?

So much better, thanks Sallie!:goodvibes

Well, the community board is down near the bottom of all the threads, under "just for fun" but when I just looked at it I was a bit taken aback at the thread titles . . not much Disney stuff there and some pretty unusual topics . . . I felt like I had wandered into some twilite zone parallel Dis-world . . .

Maybe post on the Resort thread and see where the Moderators move it, if they do????

The community board is a trip. They get rather heated on it. Just read, no postie.

Well I never will beat you, anyway if our £ did stay the same the 2010 cruise will now cost me 25% more than a few months back, but when the folks in the good old USA vote in the wrong person, next week, the money will come back out of the $$$$$$$ :rolleyes1

Can I have your calendar Andrew? We still have another week to go. the bright spot is I get election day (11/4) off as a holiday from work!

Believe me election day can't get here fast enough for me, tired of all the negative ads. The ads for some of the local races are the worst. Oh yeah, than about mid-next week the phone calls will kick in and probably all the junk mail too.

Must say this is the first election, that I have no idea what I will do when I get in the voting booth on election day.

We are a rabble rousing bunch here in the USA!

What no CNN?

Hi Crash - good to see you again.

What software are you using for the HD editing?

4406_Pinnacle-Studio-plus-v12.jpg

Well...

... last night I bought the Pinnacle Ultimate suite v12 for $99 reduced from $129 at Best Buy - but this morning my buddy pointed out I could get the Pinnacle Studio Plus v12 for almost nothing ($65 plus tax adjusted by $65 rebate with competitive upgrade). I pay for tax plus whatever it costs me to get an old copy of a competitors' application... in my case I just got it off ebay for $4.50. So I paid a total of about $8.90 including postage. http://shop2.frys.com/product/5640541

I have yet to install and try it though. We've got a cruise to embark on this weekend and today and tomorrow we have soccer practice - plus games on saturday before we embark. Well, actually... we have to skip one ga,e saturday afternoon as it's impossible for us to make the ship if we attended that game.

Anyways - back to Studio Plus v12... as I understand it Pinnicale should offer me an upgrade path to the Ultimate suite for about $29... if i decide I want it. For now though I'm just getting started.... so I think it will be OK to just goof around with the core application for a while. I'll be returning the Ultimate suite to best buy later tonight...

OK... I gotta run now - gotta get food for the kids and pick them up to run over to the field for soccer practice at 5PM...

Hey Tom! I hope everything falls in place for your group and we get to sail together again. Maybe this time I'll be able to make it to the Mickey Bar Challenge.

Hi Captain- Welcome!! I love reading your posts and seeing your graphics- I hope you do join us !!!!!

Thanks for the link! :thumbsup2

Wow, Crash, you make it seem so unsure whether you are coming on this one or not -- but we can hope! Welcome to the thread and we hope you continue to keep your plans for this cruise.:cool1:

Thanks fer the thoughts...

... I hope things work out too... or at least that they work out in time fer me ta book flights 330 days in advance of travel so I can use some of my frequent flyer miles! I figure on saving a few thousand with free flights for a couple of us! And yeah ...Julie, Mike ... it's currently a sticky but peaceful conflict of opinions between some of the folks in our group. not to bore ya with details though... just an honest admission that we ARE booked with cabin assignments - but I am simply less than certain we're gonna settle on this particular voyage and date. I wish it was otherwise (certain)... sigh.

OK... I really gotta go now.... :thumbsup2

Gee... only 5 more til I hit my 10,000th ?

YES!!!!!

 :woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo:

And with a regular Post!!!!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Didn't even realize it. :cheer2:

I'm sure I'll get caught by the 40-second rule.

Yup - 13 seconds to go.

Congrtulations, Laura! Not onepirate: , but two of them! I was on this morning and when I looked this evening it took me forever to ketchup!

The bright side of election day is we leave for WDW!:dance3: :yay: Then on November 8 look out Disney Magic here we come for our family cruise vacation! !

We did vote early and you don't have to worry about two choices, we must have had 15 of them! I was shocked when I saw the ballot!!

Have a safe trip JoAnn!

When we were on the Med cruise we got an extra night in Palo for dinner because they had low bookings the night we were in Villefrance. I know even with the longer cruise they won't let you book more than one time on line. Seems like you should be able to do more than one when you have a longer cruise, doesn't it?:surfweb:

Glad to see you back, Andrew.

Captain Crash, love those graphics!

:scratchin - has it been that much Andrew? ::yes:: except for me - I've got Adventures By Disney planned for 2009 :sad1: Unless I get an ant in my pants and decide to join you all. My 256th HS reunion was cancelled for that time so I'm free! And you all know I like to celebrate my birthdays onboard! :rotfl:

Are you really THAT OLD?!? :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Well, I hope you guys do end up keeping this cruise! Have fun back on the Mex riveria and let me know how you like the ziplining -- and if you do horseback riding . . .

How many cruises have yall been on together? :confused3

I know absolutely no one on this thread. I just thought I would jump on in and act like the rest of them. :grouphug:
Seems like a really fun bunch :dance3: just haven't figured out what kind of bunch. :scared1:

Hey Silver (can you remind me of your name? )

Don't let our banter scare you off. This is really a fun group of people and super friendly. Some of us sailed on the July 28th 2007 Med cruise and we are having a sorta little reunion with this thread. But Sallie is super friendly and so is everyone else - just jump in. Mike AKA CruzinMike (and I may have spelled his name wrong) is sailing with some of the others for the first time and he is just like family - ALTHOUGH he doesn't know he's been volunteered to head the Baltic Man Thong Parade! (YET) :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Sorry Mike - it got out!

Anyway Silver - just jump in - before you know you it - you'll be bitten by thie Baltic Bug yourself. Helps to make the next 22 months fly by. Plus - our own Andrew is a fountain of wealth in regards to travel info and we even have our own Keeper of Useless Knowledge - that is JillJill AKA Barb. ;)

Thanks for putting that out there. Does that mean I'm Princess Keeper of Useless Knowledge?!? :rotfl2:
Plus, I'm the one that been to most of these ports before, all except for Oslo and Stockholm. Plus, we've been to London more times than we can remember.

Robert....or is it Bob sorry you don't have your name in your tag line...anyway love those photos the party looked fantastic...but pleae can you post a couple of larger ones as my eyesight is going and I'm too vain to put my spec on :rotfl: :rotfl:

how great is that?? ummm, Robert, I turn .#@$ soon, will you be in charge of my party too?:rotfl:

What in the world happened to everyone today?!? I had to do :laundy: cook dinner and a few other things around the house and then I had 10 or 11 pages to read.

Chataholics? Chatalicious? Chatometers?

It was the joyous spirit of the vikings that inspired :sail:

Dang, we need a viking smiley!

Laura do you think if I "bling up" a propeller hat Mike might wear one with me???????

Sallie, I have a feeling that Mike has been waiting a lifetime for someone to offer to bling out a propeller hat for him to wear around Europe . . . go for it!

Did I mention that had Mike been informed he would have participated on our EB PC thread's "Man Thong Parade" around Palo's? :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

(I wasn't there to take pictures but we did hear about it :rolleyes1 ) I might have even caught a picture of the Alaskan flag being paraded around! Alas! No repeat was ever undertaken.

That's the nice thing about Mike -- up for anything, with no shame -- he's really going to fit in nicely here with this group . . . just imagine him in the blinged out propeller hat, in a thong but carrying a rain poncho, heading into St Petersburg . . .:rotfl:

 My eyes! My Eyes! But I'll be the first to follow him around in Russia - just in case! ;)

Sallie, when I was in Washington DC, Mike and Linda were nice enough to drive up and hold a mini-meet along with some other locals - made me feel very welcome. You and he will get along famously - although Andrew might get a bit jealous if you dump him for Mike! :rotfl:

Wow- Mike and the flashing bling- me just plain flashing- Id say we were a perfect match!!!! Watch out Russians- WE ARE COMING!!!!!!

OMG!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Don't believe a word of the stories laura and Julie are spreading about me! Next they'll be telling you that my wife was cheering me on as I wore another woman's bra and paraded around with her shoes and purse!

OMG! That is right - :scratchin - BRB...........No wait - this is a family board......suffice it to say THAT NEVER HAPPENED! And you can ask all of Rocking Bar D -they'll all same the same thing! :lmao:

Anyway, glad your not mad about volunteering you to wear the Bling Propeller Hat. BTW, Sallie is not kidding! ;)

Mike, it looks as if Laura needs a quick lesson in geography. She said you drove UP to DC to meet with them. The last time I looked at a map and made the drive to the DC area we drove DOWN that way. So being that she's not so sure where the nation's capital is in relation to the location that the declaration of independence was signed, I will not believe a word she says about you. :lmao: ;) :rotfl2:

JK Laura
