I agree about the date, Maryann..........it would be easier to have all of us meet on the same date if possible! I just couldn't remember if it was Saturday or Sunday.

Cool, Tina! I hope you do book this one! It seems to many of us that the higher cat cabins have gone up in price, but not the lower ones. Definitely not a sell out like our PC cruise, though.

Tina - another EB'er to rock this boat! That is my predicament - I just booked and am waiting to see where the chips lie. Although now, I got my friends from home booked - if they don't cancel that is!

OK you guys, we are official! Booked! Wow, something to look forward to! I did look at air fare--who knows maybe by 2010 there might be bargans?!

Good news is starting in August of next year I will accrue 2 vacation days every month! So it will be easier to save up vacation days.

We didn't get the call. Probably because we stay in DVC resorts, not their regular hotels. Sounds great, though, especially with 2 free passes!!!

We're looking around at some things to see what we'll be interested in doing at the ports. Here's a link to a folklore show in St Petersburg that sounds pretty good. I think it's something we can do in the evening that the kids will enjoy too.

Just wanted to ask a couple of ?????'s First, can I assume a C & G means a major or a degree in Photography?

Second, thanks for the link - couldn't get the magazine to stick but was able to print the article on St. Petersburg. Thank you so much for the link.

Oh and by the way - its got some marvelous info on flash - I was just thinking yesterday I needed to haul out all my photography notes from when I was going a couple of years ago. Its always a good idea to refresh! Thanks again.

How soon before you complete your studies? Show us some samples. We love samples!

C & G stands for City and Guilds which is not degree level (though it sometimes feels like it) I started the course to purely improve my travel photography. It kind of snowballed and before I could stop myself, I was on stage 2 which involved film cameras, developing and darkroom etc... I have been able to move away from auto mode on the camera, which was part of the reason for starting the course.

The flash section caught my eye as well, that is my next purchase (gadgets, love gadgets, don't tell Celestine )

We met on Panama Canal crossing day I believe, Celestine described you as Laura the lady with the big camera. I was also front centre through the first two locks.

I have inserted a few images that I used for my first portfolio. things can only get better....

Yes they sure have gone up. I got our cat 4 on Tues at the current cat 6 price. BTW I tried again to move to a stateroom further aft and our TA said that cat 4 are only on gty so there are no room numbers to move too.

Thanks for that, I wouldn't worry to much you are in a good location there, I wouldn't wish to move it, you/we are in the Midship lift area and above us is the arcade and to-wards you the quite cove pool area, good access by lifts to the Atrium and guest services and Lumière's.

Midship is the best place to have least movement, of the ship, I have been more 'aft' before but thats just because I like nipping up to Topsiders and the soda stn.
