Actually it was Barb that found nearly all of them....all I did was put them into the post. Now I feel really remiss for not looking up reams and reams of websites that relate to the UK and inparticular Dover :guilty: :guilty: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I also subscribe to a couple of monthly London emails that are full of info. I'll post any interesting stuff or the links to them when I get them.

It was thru one of my emails this summer that I found a link to the London Eye and booking a restaurant for dinner at a substantial savings over the individual costs. I think it ended up costing a little under $350. for a flight on the Eye and dinner for 4 adults and 4 kids. We did have to pay for our drinks at Porter's, but that was the only additional charge - the gratuity was even included in the prepaid price.

I'm sure I have a few more links for London or Dover that I could come up but didn't want to overwhelm everyone right away.

Morning Sallie I know you're lurking out there :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb: because I can see your little green "buddy" light glowing

Takes one to know one!
My point to all this is that you can't rush the weight loss, it comes when its good and ready. And for girls, most of the time, its right about this time.

The bad part? now we do have to watch them not because of them but because then you have OLDER guys looking at them like a starving bear looks at food. That's my baby! How dare they!

Hi Laura- its funny how so many of us are dealing with this issue! Im so glad all our girls are healthy and dealing with their weight loss in a healthy way. I cant wait to see your daughter- its amazing how so many of them have grown up in the past year and half!!!

Now, Now Izzie, this is a family board, - don't give them any the characters any ideas!

Yes, they do go on with the Brit Chat don't they?

I too like the Viking Ship.

Hey guys, just wanted to post that the 1st Baltic cruise has a poll going too - someone else mentioned this already and it got me curious so I went over to check
Did I mention that I REALLY, REALLY like ours?

OK - here are their choices:

1. We Shall Go To The Bal-tics
2. A Kick In The Bal-tics
3. Getting Our Kicks In The Baltics
4. Northern Sights and MAGICal Delights
5. From Russia With Mickey
6. To Russia With Mickey
7. Northern Sights And Mickey's Magical Delights
8. The Mouse Goes Baltic
9. Mickey Meets The Mermaid - Baltic Cruise 2010

Their leaders right now are: #7 with 8 votes as of right now and of course, #6. Their poll runs untils Saturday so we can wait to see what they go with or take a chance and stick with ours.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Gosh - I'm bad aren't I? First I invade, then I tattle, I be a regular I be.
I love- Northern Lights and Magical Delights and the one Izzi posted with same idea:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Go go Laura- you watch out for us like a mother cub watching her babies!!!!!!!:hug::grouphug::grouphug:

How did you manage to fall down the stairs ?????? Here's some :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: to wish you better.

I'm also feeling a bit poorly today....I've got a really bad tummy ache

In honour of our American friends national holiday today, I'm just about to eat AND enjoy a bowl of Fruit Loops for my breakfast.

Now bear in mind that you can not get Fruit Loops over here in the UK, so I bring back a small supply whenever we travel to the US. Therefore it's really an indulgence when I treat myself to a bowl of them and I do so today to embrace all my American "family" :lovestruc :lovestruc :grouphug: :grouphug: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I just might join you in some Froot Loops! I hope you enjoyed yours!

I have totally lost my mind....I've contacted Anastasia,in St. Petersburg, about a tour for this cruise that I haven't even booked it yet. :drinking1  She said she can work on a tour with the sights we want to see but won't have the prices for 2010 until next year.
Yup, I've officialy lost it! :tilt: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

So that means when we all converge on your house the night before the cruise everyone has to bring a box of Fruit Loops or they won't be let into your house. :rotfl2:

You sound like us when we go to England; we stock up on tea, coffee, Cadbury chocolate, and biscuits (cookies). Love Sainsbury's and Tesco. Yup, they are must stops on every visit to England.

Has anybody heard what the required deposit will be for this cruise? When we rebooked onboard, they were running the half-price deposit sppecial, so we only put down $125. I would assume that we'd have to pay any difference in deposit to keep our reservation.

I note this was confirmed earlier but it is true, deposits:-

  • $600PP if booked by phone to DCL,
  • $300 PP if booked online.
  • If TA books they get the same $600 by phone and $300 if they book on their online system.

Getting the 50% discount on deposit just saves cash flow now as you will have to pay it sometime.

Suites Cat 1> 3 will be $800pp not an option online.

Okay Andrew same to you

I definitely want this cruise, however I am not sure that I will land what I want so we will see.

You sound like my kinda woman.........chocolate biscuits and tea :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:
You provide the chocolate, biscuits and tea and I'll bring a large supply of Froot Loops. That will leave a large space in my suitcase for more souveniers to bring home. (There's a method to my madness!!!) Just think, you could get everyone to bring you 1 box of Froot Loops and you would be set for a year of so - good thing you don't have to fly home.

Andrew, a man with a good idea I can't believe it. :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:
