Once again this is not nice to post. I was in NYC yesterday getting snowed on. My friend and I looked like drowned rats when we arrived at the restaurant for lunch. We had walked about 20 blocks in the snow. We had gone up there for a Martha Stewart Show taping and we were going to go back to another taping after lunch, be we decided we were too wet and cold to walk back down to the studio so we headed home after lunch. But it was nice to get away with a friend for a few hours and catch up.

I'm sorry to hear you had lousy weather- we're just getting way to much of that nasty white stuff this year on the East coast!

It sounds like a neat day though, was the one taping you saw good?

Just so he doesn't confuse the front page count - this is my brother in law that is already on there with me :) He just finally got around to logging on to the Dis and posting it appears. I knew that he would eventually figure it out - and now we can all be proud of him :rotfl2:

(for those of you that wanted me to post more - trading barbs with him will probably do it)
I keep trying to get my DH to join the DIS, but he keeps threatening to get me in trouble by posting something obnoxious under my name...so if I happen to post anything that seems really sarcastic and out of character...it's not me it's my DH.

Wow, congratulations on the implants! I hope your appointment goes well! :grouphug:
It was great:thumbsup2
I'm doing way better than expected with the cochlear implants. Many people think you have to be almost deaf to get them, but that isn't the case.

This is great news!

I am watching American Idol but I really don't think they are showing anyone really good yet. Give it some time.
Music is the last to normalize with the cochlear implants. My audiologist says a couple more months and I should be really enjoying music again. So by the time they get to the really good singers on American Idol I should be ready:rotfl:

We went to visit the in-laws today to work out some trip planning.
I am definitely booking Anastasia in StP. That's it...We are probably for sure doing Oslo on our own. But we didn't do much of any other planning. :confused3
Mostly just visited and had lunch.
We might get together again the beginning of April.
Can't seem to get any family or friends to join us on a cruise:sad2:
My Mom is deathly afraid of the water or I would try to get my parents to come.
My MiL is too controlling to travel with:rolleyes1

:thumbsup2cool:cool1:
Never seen the two ships together before.

Hi everyone,

I made it home from Disney World! :)

We had a great trip!!!! I spoke with someone at the Milwaukee Airport that had been on the delayed cruise. She said Disney was AWESOME about it. They had a new schedule with dining assigments and activites out within an hour of the delay.

Have a great day everyone.
Hey Nicole!
Glad your trip went well:thumbsup2

Has anyone heard if Disney has announced the days and times of their shore excursions in St. Petersburg yet?
I think someone on the main Baltic thread on the main boards posted some times but not for our cruise. Plus there is a chance times could change as they iron out problems:confused3

Bummer that it was so wet:headache:
How was the show:confused3

I don't get why you people always say good morning. There is NOTHING good about morning. Good afternoon I could buy because it is no longer morning! :)

Not a morning person are you;)
My keurig helps make my mornings good:woohoo:
flavored coffee, tea and hot chocolate:cloud9:
Gotta have my sugar and caffeine:laughing:

The Martha show we went to was good for a change. We got to see Anthony Bourdain, from The Travel Channel, and he really is TALL. He was there with another chef and then one of the ladie's from The Morning Joe Show :confused3 . She's been making the rounds of the shows since she's promoting a book. They also had some of the dogs from the Westminster Dog Show. They gave us the book that was being promoted, some Ziploc porducts and doggie booties.

I can't remember where I read this , but someone on the disboards said if you take your future DCL res with you on your present cruise you'll get the onboard credit ?
I'm going on the MAGIC next Sat. and have res July 18 to the Baltic. Would be great if it worked !! Anyone know ???:confused3

I have no idea, but I would think the only way that would work is if you rebooked it on board. If the price was still the same, you could do that and cancel your old reservation.

Caro is correct. The onboard rep has to reshop your cruise to see if the rate is better with the 10% and OBC than your original ressie. The cat. of cabin you have booked also has to be available in order for them to do the reshop.
We were able to do this last summer for the our Baltics cruise. The rate had gone up a little bit, but with the 10% off it was a little cheaper and then the OBC made it even better.

Caro is not always correct contrary to her own beliefs!:lmao:;):scared1:

Oh yeah!

:wave2:Good Morning All! :wave2:

That's why she likes to see it in print, to remind her that she is correct. :flower3: :rotfl2: :grouphug:

Oh, I'm well aware of this fact. It gets pointed out to me much to often. This is why I like it when Barb points out I'm correct! It's so nice to see!
