No I was out & missed it do you have a link to share?

I just went to show the webcast to DD and it will be available tomorrow morning at 9am.

The best improvement that I saw the inside cabins is the virtual porthole. I think I'd book an inside cabin just have this and see 'water and character' float by my 'window'.
There's going to be a 600 foot water coaster that will cantelever over the side of the ship 150 feet about the water. The tube will be clear. In the cgi rendering it looked like an adult and child sitting on a 'float' inside the coaster tube.
There will be 2 new restaurants and they will keep Animator's Palate. It sounds like they will expand the bar at Palo, so I would think they would increase seating as well.
The kids club looked very cool, 1 is Toy Story themed and the other they showed was Monsters, Inc.

That's what I remembered the most. I was surprised the webcast was very short. Rachael did say the first sailing would be 1/26/2011. Absolutely nothing was said about deck plans or when bookings would open.

Thanks for the info about London, Andrew.

Hey Robert, we'll be neighbors!

Barb, maybe the private car from the hotel that would pick us up from Heathrow isn't so pricey after all. Their web site says it's 70 pounds. I guess we'll do that then.

Yup!

Hey our rotating banners are back!:thumbsup2

Good Night All!
I am going to watch the rest of the Bruins game!

By your screen name you must drive a Mini, I have one too. We are in DE so I don't go up your way, Philly scares me to drive there. :rotfl2: I do go to KofP or the new Premium Outlets and Franklin Mills. (yes Robert you do see a shopping pattern there :upsidedow )

Yup, I drive a Mini too- By any wild chance do you know of phillymini.org ??

It's a small world afterall! I work right around the corner from Franklin Mills, been to KofP, but haven't made it to the other outlets...yet.

I avoid driving in downtown Philly too, but to get from DE to Franklin Mills is a a scary ride up I-95! I hate that road. To get to the airport I take the Septa Airport line just to avoid it.

Thank you again for all of your help!

Hey, Leslie, you are officially added!:thumbsup2

I like the water coaster but I just finished the virtual tour & it looks like they just packed in the staterooms & did not add that much content to the public spaces!
Sure they did, they added more bars. I did notice they did not put any cabins under the nightclubs that are on deck 4. Why are there so many of the family staterooms that will sleep 5 people? I hope they lower the pricing for them than what they charge now.

That's really not that bad considering how much a cab would cost.
You don't want to be adverturous and tackle the tube for the first time after an overnight flight? It's really not that bad, that's the way we've always gone into the city. Even when I first went with my parents back in '87 I talked them into the tube from the airport into the city.

Nope, never heard of that site. DH & I just drive it and have fun, we don't get into any of the organizations and such for owners.
Any part of I-95 is scary, from PA to FL. But I'd rather drive to FL from here than go up past the airport. :scared1:

Any other questions just ask.

You have been answered already when I was in bed.

Private car is best option if you have lots of luggage.

You mean Cat 4 cabins & I would not count on them lowering the prices!

Unfortunately that does not help those of us with more than 5, it seems that they did not increase the number of Suites!:confused3

I do agree from what I have seen I would mark the DREAM.

  • Restaurants 9/10
  • Bars 8/10
  • Pools 4/10
  • Slide 10/10
  • Rooms 3/10
  • Kids facilities 8/10
  • Entertainment venues 8/10.

Now I know they wanted to be seen as different from other cruiselines, the restaurants show how they 'can' do it, but they should have taken on more of the other cruiseline features, wave pool, mini golf, rock climbing, outside theater, Now may have missed it on information overload, but overall disappointed.

The rooms do not have anything new bar luggage space under the bed (wow), and the inside rooms having a outside view TV. I think for families 4/5 the upgraded family options are good, you can see their focus market here, and for families with very young kids its very good, but.....

I really do not have an inkling of interest in it, missed opportunity. IMHO.

Why would they want to do that? Isn't it more fun to book a complete mystery trip with no price as per the usual?

Celestine, that part of my post is slightly out of context, I was referring to when the DREAM Platinum and Gold cruisers can book, ie Monday 2nd, that it would be a good idea for DCL to release Med and Baltic shore trips to avoid potential transfers from these European cruises to the DREAM.

Not meant to be out at the time Plat and Gold CC members can book the actual shore trips.

I am sure we will see something soon, my bet is Med and TA must be out in November, hopefully Baltic will come out at the same time, hopefully on a DVD or online as well as DCL website, I check each day.

Its not as if DCL have been busy with anything else recently, they had a lot of spare time on there hands to put these up.

This is the FE we used on the Panama Canal. Although it took a while to make, it is something we can use again & again. I'm sure Julie will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there was over a hundred cabins on that cruise taking part!!! I was hoping if we did it this time we would be looking at no more than 30 cabins. The kids enjoyed delivering as well as receiving & there were some very useful stuff, e.g. advil & washing liquid as well as some unique things.

OK, it's been along week & the Dream just isn't on my radar until at least 2012. I'm sure Disney will get the info out at some point. Wonder whether they will be in a position to let us know party nights etc. prior to booking opening - just thinking about Palo & spa ressies.

:thumbsup2

Party nights I bet our only guide will be a bland statement and the navigators from the first Baltic cruise, well after we book.

The safest bet will be sea days for Palo Spa etc, deck parties we do not know, but fireworks maybe effected by the late daylight, so maybe closer to UK.
