OK, so we are back from our trip to WDW & have finally caught up with the time difference, washing etc! Arrived home Wed morning, back to school Thursday, gym competition for Lauren on Friday & Brownie centenary celebrations all afternoon today!

It was great meeting up with Kathy, even tho' we were all tired as we had all been out at KSC watching the shuttle launch - and yes, the traffic back is a killer especially when you are dying to use a restroom!

Looks like I haven't missed out on too much & will repost the bus info. over the next couple of days. We don't qualify for gold CC membership, but maybe in a couple of years when DCL heads west (fingers crossed for Alaska).

We were out there the same time as you, and came back Wednesday morning and went back to work on Thursday as well. My DS wanted to see the KSC launch, but as it was due early morning, I said to put him off that it would have a dealy, well I was pleased that in fact it did, twice, I saw the TV pictures of the Expressway queues post launch and they looked very bad.

I have seen it (just) in the past, we were at Seaworld in a show, Dolphin or Shamu, and it took off during that and they said look left now, and I saw it.

Yes, quite an adventure all around! ;)

Hi everyone! We are back!:goodvibes

Everything went very smoothly - the Hyatt MCO was great and the luggage transfer using DCL was seamless (both ways). Our flights were on time or early both directions! Our stateroom (7020) was terrific, Brent was CD, Thord the captain, Hement is married to Jackie from the ship and they are now living in Australia, so for this cruise I had to have a new server (Gede) and assistant (Griselle) - they were great and very efficient. Maclean was our Head Server again and wonderful as always. Weather was wonderful - we left St. THomas 45 minutes early to avoid TS Erica, and on Castaway Cay it thundered for a while nut never rained - really the weather and sailing was easy. We had a senior exec from ABC on board to do a few behind the scenes events for adults, and that was interesting.

All in all, a great success! And now the girls start school on Wednesday and it's back to reality:sad2:

Glad you had a wonderful time as well!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I kept thinking the end of the cruise that the next time I get on the Magic it will be in Dover . . . and the next time I get off it I will be in Oslo:cool1::cool1:

Yes into full 2010 mode now can look forward to the Baltic. It took the pain away knowing that the recent 'trial run' of concierge has given us all the knowledge and experience to use it fully in 2010. ;)

It was a disappointment that we didn't get to go 'Eastern' and travel West again for the third time, but understandable with the weather.

So We really only did CC and Cayman Cozumel was shopping and then getting back on.

The kids didn't want to leave the room at all, content with ordering DVDs, and getting popcorn with it, and mickey bars delivered by the concierge manager.

There are two things to the CAT 3, the bigger size room of course is the one, and the change to Concierge is the other. Perosnally I feel thoose upgrading on embarkation to a suite should be quoted two prices, 1/ upgrade for room and 2/ an additional amount if they want concierge, otherwise its a little unfair to thoose who booked well in advance.

Hi Maryann! I forgot to tell everyone that Saturday morning we could see dolphins swimming around the ship once we were docked but before the ship was cleared - around 7 AM or so . . . we watched them for 15 or 20 minutes and there were several. I've heard of people seeing dolphins around Port Canaveral before but this was the first time I've seen them:goodvibes
