Caro, :grouphug: sent your way.

Did I hear someone ask about whether or not we are ROLLING??????

I must still have those TP pics somewhere.......... :lmao: :lmao:

It's time to start preparing for all of that........

No he will do Driver's Ed in school this spring but the parents have to take so many hours of education with them, then we have to spend some ungoddly amount of hours with them in the car (40 -120?) & log it !:scared: :scared: :faint:

Hey the snow has turned to rain!:thumbsup2

Ours is a wintry mist.

Thank you, I think I finally understand what you're saying.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Years ago, my area was really "country" and the schools were always closed for weather. Lately, b/c so many parents work, they try to avoid it at all costs, b/c parents really get mad when they have work and their kids are unsupervised at home so they have to take off at the last minute. I grew up in a big city, Philadelphia, and we were hardly ever off. (They have off today too.) Apparently the ice is really bad today.

Oh Philadelphia, I just had a quick flashback! When I was a little girl, one of my mother's best friends husband was a zoo keeper at the Philadelphia zoo. They had just gotten two orangutans and he named one Christine for his daughter and one Karen for me. Whenever we went to visit we had to go to the zoo for a visit with my namesake. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This is for you Maryann.:goodvibes

Let him keep the dessert sticks or whatever they are giving away this month!:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: ;) :hyper:
No can do, I wanted those:sad2:

What a great bribe to get them to shovel. :thumbsup2

How much snow/ice did you get down there?
It's our first real snow of the season. It's not a lot (a few inches), but then I grew up in NY which affects my judgment;)
The ice is a pain though. Tried walking the dog this morning and we didn't get far:rotfl:

Wow, it's like you are taking driver's ed all over again yourself. :confused3
I hve a friend in AZ and all her son had to do to get his permit was go to DMV at 15½ and take the written driver's test and he was given his permit. They don't have to take driver's ed there.
I think my DS gets his permit at 15 and 1/2. Not sure of the rest of the requirements:confused3
I'm pretty paranoid about driving. My DS is not leaving the parking lot until I'm sure he is ready.

When we're on Copenhagen, we are planning on meeting up with our Danish exchange student we hosted 6 years ago! I'm sure she can give us a great tour!
Oh how cool is that:thumbsup2
My DH is a big American history nut and loved giving my SiL a tour of DC when she came to visit. She got more than she bargained for as it was August (hot and muggy).

Very cool:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

OMG I don't know whether to be over awed, humbled or just plain jealous that we'll be crusing in the company of so many people that can afford both the money and the time to do 3 B2B crusies ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I personally am in awe!! With cutbacks at Bob's job I am really hoping this one will still be a go.
