I just got an email from Wyland Galleries and there is an art trade show the end of Feb., beginning of March and the day of the DIS meet is a public day. I was thinking of heading over there and wasn't sure how far it would be from John's. Here's the address:

I'm thinking it might be about 10 blocks but I'm not sure. Also, we'll need to get back to Penn Station to catch NJTransit and was wondering if that's only a couple of blocks away..........oh, Julie already answered!!

Julie will answer this better than me but you're right John's is about 10 blocks above the convention center and Penn Station is withinin walking distance as well (at 34th.) It sounds like it would work out pretty good.

The Javits convention center is 10 short (north-south) and 3 long (east-west) blocks from John's -- less than a mile, walkable or about a $6 taxi ride. Penn station is at 34th and 7th Avenue, so three long blocks or about a 10 minute walk from the Javits center. Sounds easy to me!!!!

She's going to be the guest book attendant at my cousin's daughter's wedding next month. We got her shoes the other night and now needs a new dress since they don't go with the dress she was going to wear.
We had great success today, a new dress and a new sweater for $33.50 and she likes them both.

It is quite popular here. Women get together, sit at tables of 4 throw dice around and hope for the best. I did come home with $55 last night.

I am having a friend search for pricing on custom lanyards for the cruise. On the EBPC Repo one of our Pirates found a supplier for tube type lanyards like this

My buddy found a price for something like the Castaway Cay lanyard

which is $2.25 each if I order 200 or more. They would be one color on the printing. Which do you prefer, flat or tube? I thought the tube was more a problem with pins than the flat.

For the wording I was thinking "Official Baltic Ballyhooer" Anybody else have ideas?

Wow, I almost missed you Andrew. Just sitting here feeling sorry for myself. The life of a west coaster.
We are pretty darn close to Pendleton. We can really hear when they play war games Their weather is a lot nicer being so close to the coast. We tend to have very, very hot weather in the summer months.
I vote for either lanyard, I will go with the majority.

I lived 34 years in So Cal, My parents live in Palm Springs. Be glad the Marines and Navy stopped doing live Beach Assaults, there were people calling the police because they thought someone was attacking CA.

The inland Desert is great now, but I got tired of 100+ temperatures in the summer
