The morning we arrived in Warnemunde it was raining. It cleared up around 11am but everyone who went into Berlin said it was raining on and off all day long. Our day turned out to be beautiful and we wished we hadn't carried our jackets off the ship with us.
I wore capris everyday except for the 2nd day in St. Petersburg since it was rainy and cool. DD wished she had taken shorts with her to wear.

The last of the Russian Army convoy that passed us. For the most part they were friendly and waving to people standing in the square.

Inside St. Isaac's Cathedral. The green columns are Malachite and the blue columns are Lapis. The portraits on the walls are tile mosiacs. The tiles gleaming gold are real gold tiles.

Haven't been able to visit the boards much. Hope you all are doing ok

Josh got back into the water this evening exactly 6 months since his last training session

He was only in the pool for 30 mins and of course he took it very gingerly and slowly but he really enjoyed it and his coach was thrilled to see him. Once we got home he just about made through dinner before crawling up to bed, I guess he'll sleep well tonight

Wish I was a better swimmer. Glad he's able to enjoy it again

I will post pictures of me kissing a large (5 feet across) stingray and another of me holding a huge albino python (I tried to kiss it but it didn't want me to -- really!) . . . No tarantulas on this trip, though . . .

They don't have tarantulas in the Baltics, right

Julie, I adopted a dog.

Kayla is a 4 and 1/2 year old mutt (part Australian cattle dog we think). Housebroken and good with our cats. Hope she doesn't learn any bad habits from the kids Right now she actually LISTENS to me

Our stateroom was on the starboard side of the ship, which is what we have again this time. We also had late seating and went back to our cabin right after dinner so I could get these shots, it was around 10:15pm when I started taking pics.

We were at the King of Prussia Mall today and saw a store called J. Jill. Immediately thought of you, Barb! We went to the Cheesecake Factory for Linda's birthday lunch. The food was great, and since I had a gift card, we brought home 4 pieces of various flavored cheesecakes to share with the kids tonight as Linda's birthday cake. You should have seen the 5 of us digging in! The forks were a-flyin'.

Ok, below I have posted a link to my DD, Tara's blog. If you open it, you will see the highlights of our quick trip to NYC including our real, yet blurry pic of TC. He's the one coming out thru the theatre door. There's also a shot of John Lithgow (which you can sort of see.) Forgive me for my lack of photo posting skills but Tara's version of our New Year's is so funny.
