Hooray I've just had my haircut. As you can see in my pics I wear it quite (well ok then very) short and I hate it when it's gets a bit longer....as it looks like a bog brush :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So Julie! Are you taking the girls to see twilight at 12:01AM tonight? :rotfl: I got Alana and a friend tickets to go see it tomorrow after school. She is so excited!

No way would I let them go at midnight since it is a school day tomorrow! We do have tickets to see it (at least, the two older girls and I and two of their friends) tomorrow night . . . I doubt the movie will be as good as the book, but it will be fun to see nonetheless.:thumbsup2

Same here for the midnight showing. Alana was hoping we'd let her go see it then with her best friend. NO WAY!!! I'm really surprised Alana didn't suggest we go to Forks to see it! :rotfl: It's about 4 hours from us. I believe she does want to go there for the weekend for her birthday in March. That I would do!

My older two plan to go this weekend, too..............I still haven't read the books even though we own all 4 of them............I hope I can at least get Number 1 soon!:confused3

That's really interesting. I really thought it was a fictional setting. I'll bet their tourist industry is picking up beyond their wildest dreams!

I predict if you start the first one, you will have all four read in no time, JoAnn . . . they really are sort of addicting.:thumbsup2

It's interesting that you said those ages -- my girls are 16, 14, and 11 -- but I haven't let my youngest read the books quite yet . . . she wants to, though;) I thought they were a little sexy for an 11 year old . . . but maybe I'm in the minority here!

No, I think you are right. Unfortunately many parents do not have a clue as to what their children are reading or watching.

Well, that's how I came to read the series, since it is not clearly a "children's" series . . . I will have to think about what age she will be considered old enough . . . it's hard for the youngest one if they feel left out of what the older ones do . . . but I keep reminding her that I don't want her to grow up too quickly.

I'm guessing that this is a girl thing as I've never heard of it :confused3 :confused3

:wave2: Good Morning all. :wave2:

We have more snow again this morning. :cold: :cold: :cold: Hopefully it won't stay around long or lay on the ground. :sad2:

We're expecting snow on Sunday morning but it's forecast to quickly turn to rain. Temps due to fall to -2C around London tonight :scared:

Well, Back from Hockey!

Looks like it is just you & me, Izzie!:lmao:
:rolleyes1

Linda picked up the first 2 to read during the repo cruise. She read so much of the first book on the first leg of the flight, and enjoyed it so much, that she picked up books 3 and 4 at the airport during our layover!

It was like driving in a blizzard this morning. It was sticking to the grass and trees and looked really pretty, but thankfully it wasn't sticking on the roads. There's actually still some in the yard.

Me too, but not for long. How was hockey?

It's been snowing on and off all day long, and still is, but it never stuck to the ground here. I saw on the news all the areas around Philly that got up to 4" and lots of accidents.
Better bundle up for Sat., it's supposed to be frigid and extremely windy. :scared1: :cold: :cold: :cold:

Yes, that's what my girls are saying, I just have to get the first one!:rolleyes1
