Thank you, we appreciate the support.:cutie:

We just had our conferences last week, and we love all 3 of our kids' teachers. We made sure to let them know just how much we appreciate what they're doing for our kids. I can imagine how hard you're working right now, so thanks for doing what you do!

I would like to do this trip sometime.........sounds nice!!:thumbsup2

I don't think I even need to comment on these photos from this weekend!:lmao:

Just stopping in for a quick good evening! I'm exhausted tonight. I was gone from 5:00AM till 5:00PM today. Came home, made dinner (Shepherds Pie, Izzi!) ate dinner and am now sitting down for awhile.

I'm working off my second wind...........:cool1:

Oh Izzi,
I can't help but remember the last night on the Med with that couple (this is a family thread). OMG, Tom & I still think about it and :rotfl: . The best was the officers didn't know what to do. Remember the guys holding up the blanket.:rotfl: :rotfl: and making sure no children went past them. For those of you not on the Med cruise with us, there was this couple doing things they definitely should not have been doing on the lounge chairs by Quite Cove. We all got an education that night.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OMG Do I remember it !!! Yes and Paul and I just crack up every time we talk about it. Josh wanted to know what we were laughing about the last time we got talking about it, so we told him and his reaction was EEEEWWWW !!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm sure Paul would much prefer to spend a few hours on a nightly basis eating our daily bought chocolate in the Quiet Cove with a fab coffee and cheese and biscuits. :rotfl2: :lmao: :dance3: :dance3: :yay:

I have no idea what is being discussed. I just flashed on chocolate, and something about a not-so-quiet cove :rolleyes1

I talk to DH about you all the time. Like last time, he felt like he knew many of you before he "met" you. He always asks about those of you that we met on the Med.

same here.. Jimmy will post under my name every now and then, but he does ask and had a great time on the med cruise because we knew so many people before the boat even left the dock! Maryann and Tom, we found out ,live only about 10 minutes from us!! We made amazing lifelong friends hereThis is a magical place !!

:grouphug: :grouphug: To all our CA friends with hopes these fires end soon.:grouphug: :grouphug:

Hey, I love parents! Without them, I wouldn't have a job!;) Also, having been one for the last 24 years, I do understand how important everyone is in this process. My worries are more about me being able to communicate properly the things I need to say!

Thanks for the support, Iz............so...........who else has conferences this week? Sallie? Maryann?:hippie:

I'm up to my nose with progress reports and I start conferences Thursday, the kids do not have school, the teachers go in from 2-8pm. I am exhausted by the time I get home. I have been doing Parent Conferences for 26 years now, but they still wipe me out. It is very hard to tell a parent that her son or daughter is not keeping up, or worse that your fear there may be a learning disability. I have 4 children this year who cant keep up, 2 of which I fear a disability. I love my parents, and thank God I have a good reputation, and I am well liked, but I really dont like the conferences.
Being a first grade teacher, it is hard to make the call as to whether its a disability, or a maturity issue. It is also difficult because you are usually the first one to tell a parent there may be a problem. It was easier when I taught 4th grade because the parents had already ben told by at least 3 teachers that there is something wrong. Some will never accept it- and I can also understand that!
Today I am having my Thanksgiving Celebration. The parents will bringing in a full Thanks giving dinner for the class- from the Turkey to the sweet potatoes to the many veggies to the apple pie. They are really great! But I will be knocked out by this too later on! Im getting old!!!:sad2: :sad2:

Thanks Mike!! The majority feel just like you !

No, but I would very much LIKE to see the captions/comments you would post about them . . .:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

awesome pictures- we went a long time ago- I think its time to go again!!

GOOG MORNING BALLYHOOERS!!!

Will someone please tell me why my DH keeps hitting the snooze button on his radio/alarm? He sets it for me to get up in the morning at 4:00am (even though I have my own alarm) and then instead of turning it off, he hits snooze. So it's been going off every 7 minutes or so for the last 45 minutes. I'm at the other end of the house and can hear it. Wouldn't you rather not have it go off and go back to sleep? :confused3
