Tnight may go downhill. I'm taking all 3 kids for their flu shots tonight.:scared1:  Wish me luck!

Good luck indeed! When I took my kids for theirs last week, they had the flu mist, so we tried that -- no shots or sore arms:thumbsup2

Oh my gosh where are all the Ballyhooers :confused3 :scared1: :scared1: :confused3

Please don't tell me this is how it's going to be :sad2: :sad2:

Sorry had to take a nap, I had a horrible sinus headache.

Now for the news: it's snowing outside right now. :scared1: :cold: :earseek: It's not supposed to last, but still.....
To make it even funnier, one of our neighbor's was cutting their grass when it started. :confused3 :upsidedow

At one point Dove did make the :mickeybar , so she was right.

I will eat Dove dark chocolate, but it's not like a Cadbury Bourneville bar.

I have a fondness for Curly Wurlys, but my kids love the Aeros (regular and mint)

So far, so good. It was my first real day of my clinical inpatient rotation. (Yesterday was orientation.) We had to present our first patient cases today already, but all 3 of us on this rotation did pretty well. There were some minor things that we each missed, but our preceptor was really good and showed us what we should be looking for when we check the charts, computers, and talk to the nurses. Hopefully the next 5 weeks will go smoothly.

Hope the rest of your rotation goes as well as today did and gets better. :thumbsup2

Good luck with the kids, maybe you will get lucky and get the mist for them. :grouphug:

Curly Wurly's bring back fond childhood memories. DD & DH like the Aero bars too, I don't like them.
We bought some chocolate in Russia that was just like Aero. They both liked it, I still have some of mine left and they won't eat it since it's dark chocolate.

I don't care of the Aeros, either -- too much air!:lmao: But you will have to tell me what the kind was you found in Russia -- we love trying candy and chocolate everywhere we go.

Sorry to leave you alone, Izzi . . . some days are busier than others and this is the first chance I've had to relax all day. Not a bad day, just a busy one. Luckily I'm not going out tonight.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: That's a really funny question....I can't read the wrapper. We bought it on the ship since we didn't see any chocolate at the souvenier shops we went to.

Even if you could, I doubt you have a cyrillic keyboard on your computer to let me know the name!:rotfl2:

That will be interesting -- will DCL have things from all countries visited? They did on the Med and on the Mexican Riviera cruises . . .

On our Carnival cruise they just had things from Russia for sale in the shops and a lot of it too. What was good was that they put out the things the night before we arrived in StP and we had a look around and then we could compare prices to the shops we went to. Some of the things were cheaper on the ship and some were more. The chocolate was really flying off the shelves, I don't think many people any in the city. I did buy a small hand painted laquer box on the ship, it was expensive but very pretty.
There is also a shop at the port on the other side of immigration, but it was so crowded since there were 2 ships in port I just looked around and left. Their priced didn't look too bad and they had a huge selection of stuff in a wide variety of prices.

Thanks, that's good to know!

I'm so sorry I wasn't around, Izzi! I missed my last break because I was at a meeting, so I couldn't check in here. Please forgive me and The Boeing Company. :worship:

Maybe he has the wrong alarm clock. This one has a nasty habit of having shorter and shorter snooze times until you finally have to get up.

But see that's the whole thing. He doesn't even have to get up yet. It's not like he is pressing snooze so he can sleep a little longer. The alarm goes off for me at 4:00, but he doesn't get up till maybe around 6:00. Why does he keep pressing snooze and interrupting his sleep? I just don't get it. :confused3

Wow, I could actually ketchup easily today!!! Just a typical day in the neighborhood today. I had our Sci. club after school so I didn't leave until 5PM. Tomorrow I have a meeting at another school at 3PM and then back to our school for open house until 10PM!!! I'll try to check in tomorrow but I doubt it.

Now I know why I could ketchup - THE BROTHERHOOD was very quiet today. Hmmmmmm, and they talk about us SISTERS being gabby..... :rolleyes1

Hmm, I think in addition to a pair of Uggs, Andrew is going to owe me lots of kinds of chocolate! I have obviously been chocolate deprived all my life!

I was thinking the BROTHERHOOD had been very quiet today too. Especially the self-proclaimed leader. :lmao:

Don't forget he'll also owe you some eye candy as well. :thumbsup2 :grouphug:  :flower3: :dance3:

We have fun trying out all the different kinds of chocolates. But we usually don't share with each other - we each get our own kind.

I'm just sitting here wearing my DCL sweatshirt, waiting for Dancing with the Stars.........predictions anyone?:goodvibes

Unfortunately my beloved Caro is not fond of eye candy. She is (as she says) a Jeans and sweatshirt type of girl so whenever I ask her response is "Where would I wear it?" And that goes for nice clothes as well as bling.
