Good morning everyone!

Thank you for the cards--they are great!

We had SNOW here in Houston last night--you need to know that we don't have snow but about once every 10 years! DS 20 was coming home from college and the last leg has him coming down a high ramp from one freeway to the next--the cars in front of him were scared to go down it so he was stuck on it for about an hour A car clipped his whipping around him on the ramp--scary! all was well once he got home but YIKES!!

I love seeing the holiday pictures--what a great cotillian

Andrew--sorry about your puppy

We are going to Disneyland on Sunday--I can post a picture after the 19th. Just fill me in on an advent date!

Morning everyone! I thought I posted yesterday, but I can't find it! I am really losing it!

Thanks for all the great holiday cards. I finally got my last batch out this morning. We have been busy here and then I go an volunteer myself to decorate cookies with dd's class on the 19th. The whole school is going to the theater to see the Tale of Desperux (?) in the morning and than in the afternoon small parties. The last couple of years the school has really down played classroom parties.



So I have cookies to bake and frosting to mix. What was I thinking?

I'm going to try to start my cookies this weekend...........however, I still have to food shop for everything. Oh yea and decorate the house and tree! And you wonder why I can't post a picture. I can't take it until I do everything else!

Ok ladies question ..... why are you making biscuits ??? Why not just go and buy some ????

That's cool the whole school goes! She must go to a small school! If Kathryn's school did that, they'd have over 500 students going!

We have about 320 K-6. I like this field trip, cause they need parents to drive. I'm not crazy about parents driving, but I've done it a couple of times. The theater is only 2 miles away! I already read the book and I can tell from the trailers that the movie will be more cutesy than the book. So it should be fun. I'm driving dd and 3 other kids.

Cause I'm an idiot! No actually just in the mood to bake and this way I know I can't eat everything! There are some cookies that I only make at Christmas so I figured here is an excuse! Since I'm taking the day off for the field trip, I thought it was be nice to help out in the classroom in the afternoon.

I am guessing that the TF actually visited Andrew's 2009 cruise thread, since his tag was changed to Tortola Treasure Seekers . . . but there is lots of time for us!

Didnt seem to vist that thread either, she picked up that I am on that cruise, but I have seen any other TF posts recently.

I hope she comes around to all.

You can see the bottom of the tree, and the lovely skaters . . .

Not sure about the Wine, but Chocolates champaign and telling her how beautiful and inspiring she is, helps,

It's a Christmas tradition that most everyone bakes cookies and they are usually ones they don't make any other time of year. I've been lazy the last couple of years and haven't made them, well not lazy but too preoccupied with other things, and haven't felt like doing them.
We usually get a really nice plate of cookies from friends and she goes all out and makes about 10 or 12 different kinds.

I do have to do some baking Saturday since we have a family dinner to go to on Sunday and we all take something. I decided to make a pineapple upside down and then I will do some chocolate covered pretzels as well.

Glad to hear your DS is fine. I didn't think you got snow there at all.
I used to have to deal with people in Houston on a daily basis when I was working at Cigna and no one ever mentioned snow to me and they would always tell me it was nice when we had the bad weather.

Have a great trip to D'land. I have friends that just got back from there yesterday. I haven't talked to them since they've been home but I did have a message from them over the weekend and they told me the Department 56 store at DTD is closing and everything in there was 50% off.

I'll get to go home before I bring the girls tonight! Thank goodness! Andrew discovered I left my phone at home today when he texted me and heard my phone ring in the house! He put it away safe for me! Poor phone, it's probably lonely!
