7/18/10 Mickey's Baltic Ballyhoo Part 6

Still morning here! It's a pretty one too!
Barb, I notice that Laurie (MrsScooby) hasn't posted much since the 2 of you met! Hmmmm..... ;)

Hmmm....you are correct. Wow, I hope I didn't shock her and her DD too much with all the shopping we did. :dance3:  :rolleyes1

We are back in the swing of things.

Life has been a bit crazy, Joan had to have surgery, but all things look like this cruise is on again. We did have to cancel the repositioning cruise to Barcelona.:sad2:

Have been lurking some, but today it seems real since our flight information is now on our reservation.:):)

:flower3: :grouphug: Sorry to hear about Joan's surgery. Hope she has an extra speedy recovery.

Congrats on getting your flight info today.

LOL, just came on for a quick hello

Barb, Kelly and I had a great time with you and Alexa on Saturday:dance3:
I've been playing catch-up with tons of work that I let pile up:headache:
So mad I had my camera in my purse and forgot to take a pic of our mini-Dis meet:rolleyes:
Kelly keeps saying she loves Potomac Mills now and wants to go back-so we will probably be back there before we cruise in July. Both my guys liked what I got them too at the mall- now I just have to get something for me next time...DH was relieved I didn't spend more at the Coach store:rolleyes1

Been super stressed from work-just found out I passed the first part of the program I started 6 months ago:cloud9: Huge relief:woohoo: Now I can concentrate on fun things like this trip:cool1:

I have tons to do today as I leave in the morning to fly to California to visit my sis and her family for the weekend.

Hopefully have time later in the day for a proper ketchup:upsidedow

Laurie sorry if I corrupted Kelly into liking Potomac Mills too much. :dance3:  :flower3: So glad the other 2 liked what you bought them. Yes, next time it's your time for buying.

Today is our anniversary - 22 years.

Morning all

I'll do the big 'morning' since Robert hasn't done it yet this morning.

Thanks everyone. Went to dinner with our DD and my brother, it was very good. They brought us out a big chocolate souffle 'on the house' and it was good but not as good as the one from Palo.

For food lovers, the Northern European sailings have some special culinary treats in store with two exclusive new menus: Flavours of Scandinavia and Dinner of the Czars. Scandinavia specialties include Jarlsberg cheese and carrot soufflé, juniper-spiced elk tenderloin and lingonberry and vanilla cream. Russian-inspired cuisine includes potato-cheese Russian ravioli, borscht, chicken Kiev and crepes Romanoff.

I saw that! The Russian food sounds tasty, but not so sure about the Scandanavian. juniper-spiced elk tenderloin sort of scares me.
The childrens activities sound fun!

 Bring on the elastized waistbands :rotfl2::rotfl2: I can feel my clothes getting tight already.popcorn::  I know my DH will likely try the juniper spiced elk tenderloin. He likes to try unusual dishes:rolleyes1 The Russian dishes do sound very tasty. Guess I better stay on my diet for another few weeks :lmao::headache::guilty:

Just Booked the 18th Jul Baltic, price was to good to pass up. Was anyone on the EB Transatlantic cruise or the 1st Med Cruise this Year? Did not think I would be back on Disney so soon, but always wanted to see the Baltic area.

Am concerned about the Volcano but figured the odd were good and plan to get the UK three days before the cruise and hopefully be able to adjust travel if the volcano cause delays. Expect this is a major reason the cruise may not be filling up with late bookings. Hope they get more takers, never want a company to lose due to no fault of their own.

If any ship questions should be able to give a hand since spent 25 days just ending on May 5th.

Welcome Donald and Katrina :welcome::welcome: Glad you'll be joining us. You will definitely know the Magic inside out after 12 more nights on her.:yay::teleport:

DH is looking forward to trying the elk, I'll stick with the Russian menu it looked very tasty. Although, I'll be very glad to have the lingonberries with the vanilla sauce - that sounds heavenly.
