We had a 7:15 adr at Citricos back in September and we barely made it in time to just see the fireworks from the dock at the GF -- forget about getting over to MK!
Our waiter even let us go out the emergency stairwell there in the dining room to shave off a minute or two.
The meal took longer than we expected, for sure. Not in a bad way at all -- especially for the prices we paid. I'd not have been happy had we been rushed.
But we had to wait about 10, 15 minutes before we were seated. I don't know why; there were A LOT of empty tables. I know sometimes there is a wait because of how the kitchen is running and orders being processed. But we weren't seated until about 7:30 or so.
There were only three of us (adults.) DH & I knew instantly we wanted the wine pairings, but Mom really prefers red wine, so the waiter brought her several to try. This took time.
We had appetizers, entrees and desserts.
Then DH's steak needed to be thrown on the fire a bit longer (it was still mooing) ... more time.
One of our desserts were wrong ... more time.
Our bill was wrong ... more time.
Before we knew it, it was 9:20 and we still hadn't even paid yet!
DH never did get to see the fireworks. You can set a clock to his restroom/meal schedule, so he was off finding a restroom once he got Mom & I settled at the dock.
So go very early!
