What time do you think we should get to the airport for a 6pm flight to insure we sit together? The reservation is under one number so I am assuming I can't use online checkin for the 3 of us.

I was under the impression that you could now print out boarding passes for multiple people under one reservation.

Depending on what airport you're flying out of, be prepared for 25-45+ minute waits to get through security.

You are correct.

That's great news! Is it tricky to do? I would love to do this on the morning of travel and not worry about being seating assignments.

Since you are flying in the evening.... I would stay up until midnight and print them out then to get the "A". You will still get plenty of sleep.

Then get to the airport a couple of hours early and get in line......

Have fun!

Just bear in mind that SW doesn't do seating assignments. Its general boarding. If you check in online, you'll likely get the A group - which is first to board after the pre-boarders.

Best way to ensure that you're going to sit together is to get there a bit early, with an A boarding pass...

I had learned (which when I couldn't figure it out, SW told me was incorrect) on these boards, that I could "print" out my A passes and just not really print them on our laptop for our return trip. So I did that, went to the Kiosk as was suggested, and couldn't find a way to "print" them after the fact. We had to check in our luggage, so had to go to the counter anyway, and the gal said no problem, she would print them out, that we couldn't do it ourselves..the kiosk couldn't be used for "reticketing", just for the first time.

It worked out great, we got A's and they let me bring on my young nieces (who had "b's" - their dad didn't have a computer with him and were not at our resort). We figured no one would take a seat next to the girls (and no one did LOL), and so their dad was able to board later and still have a seat.

This is true, do online checkin at 12:01 AM.

You will get an "A" pass.

Wow, you guys are so full of information! Now, how do I checkin online, at home? That may seem like a silly question, but I've never done this! Is it just simply a few clicks and then print the passes? Can I hand the passes to the skycap or do you have to use the kiosk? Also is it difficult to figure out with 3 ppl on one reservation number? Thanks in advance!
