Someone at work just adopted two male dauchands and he named them Nick and Rudy.

Here were my pics: Chip n' Dale, Jekryll n' Hyde, Ben & Jerry, Pot n' Luck, Barney n' Clyde, Buster and Brewster. I had many others, but he wanted manly names!

I like Jake (I think it is a strong and handsome name)!

When your adopted one arrives, we want lots of pics!!!!! Pleasssssse!

I like Buddy. I always think of Shadow as a black dog's name, although the Golden down the street is Shadow. My year old Golden is named Keeper, because she is a keeper, of course!

Have fun with your new puppy. My DH and I have considered getting a companion for Keeper since she is going blind, but she is doing so well, and I can't imagine a sweeter dog than her. My kids point out that I managed to love all four of them, so surely I would love another dog too, but I really want to be sure that Keeper is happy, and so far she is.
