$69/way flights found!

I was inspired by Rumbly Tumbly's rates found and started digging. today I got an email from southwest on a hot internet fare.

It is $69 internet only each way from hartford/orlando. It's great for us because we could not go two days prior. This had a non-stop, into orlando by 2pm on friday and return saturday out of orlando at 2pm.

We had budgeted at most $225 per person or we would have driven to florida to make this cruise happen. Great savings for our family of four!


And it must be my lucky day because DU contacted me to confirm out transfer of res went through and we not only received $100 rebate but because we booked while on board last year we also will receive a $200 on board credit. WOOOWWW

I'm trying to justify my 2 hours on the internet today instead of my office work which was to be done... we'll see if the hubby buys it!1

Hey,

By my calculations, you saved $348 total on what you had budgeted for the airfare, the $100 rebate and the $200 onboard credit.... total of $648. So, unless your office work pays more than $324 an hour, hubby can't complain

We must be pretty close be being neighbors! I'm from North Stonington. When are you cruising? We are going in February and rates still haven't fallen below $250 from BDL or PVD. I keep hoping that the closer we get we might find a sale.

How far in advance can you book flights? Saw awesome deals a week ago, but we're not going until May 2003. Any thoughts?

You can usually see the time available on a special fare in the main rate area. but most of the ones I was looking at went out as far as early March.
