The fireworks cruise is GREAT for a birthday!! We did this for my DS (now 10) a few years ago. We were travelling with all adults (except him) and wanted his birthday to be EXTRA special. You can get a large button in the parks (ask at guest services or at City Hall in MK) that says "Today is my Birthday!" MANY CM's, and even a few guests noticed and wished him a happy day. One CM at The Great Movie Ride even gave him a birthday card autographed by all of the characters.

If you are staying on Disney property, make sure to have a notation made on your room reservation. Also mention that you are celebrating a birthday at any Priority Seatings youm make.

I hope you have a wonderful trip!

My niece was given a surprise trip to Disney for her shhhh 30th birthday last November. Her DH took his parents and hers along! Anyway my sister bought shirts for everyone that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNIFER, and one for her that just said JENNIFER. She received so much attention. The band playing on the way into the Magic Kingdom stopped and played Happy Birthday to her, they received free desert and so on. If she would wear it get her a shirt!

I am planning on spending my 40 something birthday down in WDW with my boyfriend this coming May. Am planning on 'Ohana dinner the night before and then Wishes from the beach. MK on my birthday - make sure to get a birthday button when you enter the park - heading over to the barber shop for pixi dust in my hair. We are having lunch in the castle. I want to stay in that park all day. The next morning we have the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot - as I could not get the castle for breakfast. We are doing lunch in Canada - can't wait to try the soup. Make sure you get a birthday button in each park.

I am also going to make PS for the "tea" at the GF for one of the days we are in WDW. Make sure when you make all your reservations mention that it is for a birthday. I didn't want to do any of the cruises as it is just the two of us. I am also planning on get an autograph book and putting pictures of us and the characters in it and a Passport in Epcot. Hopefully they will write "Happy Birthday" in their language. I think this would be a great memento.

Have a great time what ever you do.

Linda
