.

My middle child did this, we had to put him in onsies with the diaper on backwards and duct taped!!

As gross as it is I think it is just her natural curiosity. After all it came out of HER body so she is probably wondering what it is and wants to explore it.

I would NOT make a big deal out of it. No yelling or making her feel bad about it. I would just stress to her that we do not play with our poop and that it is yucky. She will eventually be bored of it. :)

Good Luck! :)

sounds like she's ready for the potty. I say, put her in real underwear and start taking her to the potty every hour on the hour.

piglet too - How long did this phase last? going to buy duct tape

Jenn Lynn- We told her it was yucky and that she needed to go in the potty. Today she had to have a bath because she got it everywhere! So it was a big deal.

oogie- We have been putting her on the potty and recently got out the little one for the living room. She is very interested but we've only caught her once. I don't think she is quite ready...yet. I'm thrilled she's interested both my boys were 3.

My son did this. When he was about 2, I had his crib next to mine for a bit. I woke up one night because there was something wet on my pillow. After I was fully awake, I turned on the lights to find out that precious son had taken off his pj's and diaper, ripped through it the diaper, and thrown the wet gel all over the room. Nasty! He did grow out of it, but for a while, I had to safety pin the zipper to his sleepers up so he could not get to his diaper.
