Dh is stressed but he starts vacation next Tuesday. Mom is a pollyanna, always trying to please everyone and has never been sick. She doesn't get it. And me, well, I had my head drilled open...as if that isn't any stress.

I wasn't patient before. I didn't suffer fools well before. I certainly don't now. Life is too short and too precious to play games. So I'm not playing. Maybe that is a little harsh but that is me. I'm not the same person I was before the surgery and I think I'm changed forever. Dh understands.

Now how many days until I see Wishes again???? ::MinnieMo

thanks for listening.....

According to your countdown, 338 days! Woohoo!
Life is tooooooo short! You are right Pembo! Tell it like it is!

HEY, if you're doing well enough to self examine-yell all you
want. Your DH will let you know when to stop if you give him
permission to. :flower2: :flower2: :flower2: :flower2:
Take care!

Was that you that I heard the other day? I thought it was the thunderstorm.

You can always come over to my house and yell at my kids. They are used to it. What the heck. You can even yell at me.

I hope that you can go somewhere to relax during Mark's time off.

Hope you're feeling better....feel free to vent/yell/rant all you want to us, we definitely understand and will do whatever we can to help you recover.

I don't know your situation at all, so forgive me if this has been covered, but are you taking steroids after your surgery? My mom had surgery on her brain and had to be on steroids for quite awhile to keep the swelling down so she could heal and let me tell you.....She is usually the sweetest thing and she was a GROUCH. She would gripe at somebody and then look at them like she couldn't believe what she just said.

Either way, I'm sorry you're having such a struggle. Don't get too frustrated with the changes, just give yourself time.

disneymom3 - Yes I did have to take steriods but only for 2 weeks after surgery. I'm now at 6 weeks.

TC - Yep it was me, not the thunderstorm. LOL!! Maybe I can be TownYeller???

Yell all you want, but be prepared to accept the consequences. DH will get upset and stressed even more. Your mother and kids will get upset. Don't expect them to just sit there and take. No one can do that. I know you have every reason to have little patience, but don't expect those around you to just take it wiht no reaction. I hope it all works out for you.
