Helloo all!!!

Yes, you read my title correct, we have 605 days to go!! I honestly don't know how I am going to wait that long!! I already have a countdown on my fridge!

How does everyone out there wait for the time when they can start planning?!

I already have ADRs that I want to make, Resort we are staying at, Driving and Trip Itineraries started, estimated cost of resort park tickets, and I'm working on food right now!

This will be our 1st family trip together, my 4th, but 1st as our little family! Our DD 1st trip as well! I think that is part of the reason I am so excited!! I just don't know what to do with myself while we pass the days!! All 605 of them!!

lol, we have 674! My hubby keeps teasing me about my "obsessive planning and list making" but really I just spend a little bit of time doing some research every few weeks/months. I don't know what ADRs we'll have/want yet and I don't know our itinerary per say, I'm just researching cost, travel (driving from NJ--we can do it!), etc. Mostly basics and generalities. Since we'll have little ones with me when we go (I'm pregnant now, so the youngest will be ~18 months) I'm not sure how well we'd be able to stick with a really structured to do list. We'll instead have a short list of favorites for each park and let the rest happen as it does. None of my soon to be 4 kids have gone before and I can't wait for them to experience it! GAH!!!

Planning is part of the enjoyment for me, I get a kick out of it and have scavenged some useful hints from several other members after reading though these threads for a while. I love the anticipation and can't wait to go again. It will be have been 10+ years since our last trip when we finally get there, not since our honeymoon! (And before that I went once when I was ~4.5...and have very little memory of it unfortunately since we were only there one day). Our hope is that this will be the first of many trips with the family, ideally we'll get there at least every three years, but we'll see what finances allow.

I thought 605 days was bad! You have 2 1/2 months longer than me! That's not a lot of time, but when you're waiting to go to Disney it is a long time!!

We will be driving as well, unless I can find some REALLY good air fare prices. From PA for us. I flew our 1st trip and we drove the next two. My DH has never been there, so it'll be his 1st trip, my DD(4 when we go) 1st trip and my MIL 1st trip. My FIL has been there, but A LONG LONG LONG time ago!! Before TOT was built!

I have estimated park tickets, which I'd like to order one at a time from UCT and I can link them to our Magic Bands, if we decide to get them. Which, by the time we go it probably won't be an option! I made general itineraries. The park itinerary is just what park we will be going to for the day and any ADRs we decide to make. Nothing specific. I know with a 4 year old and 4 adults, some who have never been there and some who it's been 10+ years, myself and FIL, it'll be hard to follow an itinerary. My driving itinerary I made so I can have an estimated time of when we would arrive. I wanted to eliminate overnight driving as much as possible, so I have us leaving at 1am. It'll be a little overnight, but early enough that we can get some sleep, and still arrive at a decent evening time. Minimizing stops as much as possible.

I have circled on my calendar 499 days so I can call for our room ressies and 180 days circled so I can be prepared for ADRs and I also have the date the park hours will come out for our week so I can continue on our itinerary.

For now I have been browsing the boards, UCT, MouseSavers, and WDW.com, keeping Up to date with the MagicBands.

That's quite a while from now, personally while I was waiting to go on my trip with my kids I just kept myself occupied doing other things and not thinking about it too much, the time passes much quicker

And I thought I had a long time to go at 462 days. I also drive my DH crazy. We really wanted to go this year but I have had too many things going on to make it happen. My Mom and Sister will be joining us on this next trip. My DD will be 5 and we are hoping there will be another little one joining us.

I have already started keeping some notes of where we might want to stay and where we might want to eat. Other than that, I just pretty much spend my evenings keeping up with all the information passed around on these boards.

My family and I are going in june 2015. This will be the first time that we skip a year. Its so nice to know that I am not the only person counting down and planning a trip that is still so long away. Lol. Im already deciding which ADRs I will be making. For me planning for the trip is so much fun.

I have 224 days!!! Can't wait! Driving from Atlanta and (sadly) not staying on property. I'm going with my sister, BIL and niece (age 4) and nephew (age 9). It will be there first time to WDW! I think I'm more excited than they are!

We are looking to rent a house in Windsor Hills resort for the second week in Sept 2014. If you have any good referrals- pls let me know.

I had 740 days when I started and am at 243 as of tonight. The only change I made is we were booked to stay at aoa. But I have now booked a condo through vrbo. Savings of almost $1000 and every penny counts.

Down to 654 days! I'm researching BWV and AKV trying to decide on where to rent points from. I have most of our ADR's picked out and decided which rides we can skip and which ones are a must. I feel like it will never get here

I know how you all feel!!

I have been trying to stay away from the DisBoards for a couple days at a time, so I'm not checking everyday! Then when I do check, it keeps me busy for a while catching up on all my subscriptions and all the new posts.

I ordered the DVD for 2014, just for my DD, well, for me as well, to watch and to get her to understand WDW a little more. She's only 2 1/2 right now, 4 when we go! She is a ride fanatic! I bring the rides up on youtube and she sits here and goes "WEEE" during the whole ride! I try and only show her rides that she can ride right now, when she goes for her Doctor well visits and I know her height, I will show her the other rides that she is tall enough for. I don't want to get her hopes up and then she can't ride it when we get there.

I have been researching strollers for her, right now I don't want to decide on one, as she will grow A LOT before we leave. I remember when I went with my brothers and picking a stroller is going to be a big decision. My mom always had to take a big one and I HATED how much of a hassle it was!!

I pretty much know what ADRs we want, and the hotel (POP). I'm just patiently waiting for park hours to come out so I can work on our itinerary.

Oh good I'm not the only one in that boat. Planning a trip for Aug 2015 so I'm about 545 days out. I knew I was going back that summer since I got back from my last trip last spring. I want to see Fantasyland finished, get a chance to fully explore WS, and take a few days to swing by US to see the HP expansion (main reason we're going next year instead of this year... though giving FP+ some time to settle down is a perk). I've had my must do TS and my touring plan (what park what day) planned for a few months now. I've had several dreams about different rope drop situations.

Only 10 months before I book the trip (need to confirm just which of my cousins are coming with my brother and I) and 1 year before I can make those ADRs.

We are looking at August 2015. It's such a long way away!! I haven't been since August 2011. We were really trying for August 2014 but we have to move in August and a few other things and we just can't make it happen.

Right now I'm just getting ideas on where to stay and where we want to eat. How long we want to stay. Hoping some of the same deals come out in 2015 that have in years past because I would love to stay Deluxe!

Our biggest dilemma is to drive from NJ or fly. I'm thinking I haven't gone in 4 years. I have almost two years to plan and save. We can make flying happen. I don't mind driving there. It's driving back that is a killer! I prefer to fly but if we have to drive I won't be whining.

Yes, you have to call WDW though. It might take a little longer than online, but the CMs are great to chat with!

I saw your ticker and laughed because we're going the same time as you are. We're thinking either the second or third week of September 2015. We were there this past November and I'm already planning for our next trip. I drove my husband crazy on our last trip. I started planning just after I got my tax refund and I was on disboards every day. Even now he is looking at me and asked what I was doing on my kindel. I didn't want to tell him but he saw the blue background and knew I was on disboards but I don't care, this is the place I need to go when I'm in between trips.

Inuss1988 I'm right there with you!!! I'm driving my husband insane! We are going September 2015 as well. I think planning is part of the excitement! We do Disney family movie night once a month ( sometimes twice) and that's something to get excited about each month so it helps pass the time as well.
