And I'm not trying to be mean but does anyone else think that they should make Caroline Rea a contestant instead of the host? I like her a lot but it seemed odd to me to have an overweight host on a weightloss show.
:rotfl: I hear what you are saying! In fact, it seemed more odd as the weeks went by. Wouldn't you personally be motivated to workout if you were surrounded by these people? Who knows though... maybe she can't.

Will there definitely be another season? At first I really didn't like the show. Too much pressure to lose weight quickly, but I really think they did teach them how to successful incorporate better eating and exercise into their lives. I want more! :jumping4:

Don't let things get TOO crazy, Michelle, otherwise I will have to come looking for you!

Hi Michelle :flower1:
Glad to see your back. SOrry to hear about the phone lines and all.

I think they picked Caroline Rea so that there wouldn't be such a huge difference between the host and the contestants at the end. Even though Kelly lost tons and looked fabulous, standing next to one of the typical anerexic hollywood types would have made her still look fat. JMTCW

Have a fabulous, sunny day.

:rotfl: You are too Funny! I need to watch all the episodes next time as I only watched this one in spurts. Have a nice day.

Hey Michelle - Glad you were able to post. Hope your feeling a little better. We'll have to figure out what's around our hotel since we won't have a car. My DH will have his cell phone and you can give us a call when your heading out from the port.

I agree with you about Caroline. I originally thought they had her for her comic relief, but there wasn't much of that on the show, so I'm not sure why they picked her besides her being a little bit "heafty" herself

Computer problems bite! :badpc: I haven't been able to get on my e-mail for over a week now! :badpc: Even the online tech couldn't fix it! :badpc: Actually, that should be me beating him on the head! :D Just kidding, not my style. I'm more of a get more with sugar kinda gal... not not flirty (even though DH would say so) just sweet!

I agree about Caroline Rhea too. When I first saw that she was the host, I just assumed that she would be on one of the programs by Bob or Jillian. Bad assumption on my part, obviously. I used to work with Kelly Mac up here in Portland, ME and then she got a promotion and moved to Boston, MA with our company. She's awesome and I hope she wins. I know she's been working out like crazy. She also moved to Boston for more career opps with her comedy routine. She's one of those naturally funny people...

Well, I really should start my day for real. KIds and animals to feed, etc.

Hope you are having a GREAT day! :flower1:

Hi Michelle!

Glad to see you back!! We still use dial-up too. :)

I agree with you about Caroline Rhea being a strange choice to host BL. I didn't get to see every episode, but everytime I watched it, I was like :scratchin. It's just one of those "Things That Make You Go Hmmmm". :rockband: (Do you remember that song?)

I pray that God's peace finds you during all that you need to accomplish each day. Take good care of you during this hectic time.

Have a blessed Sunday! :flower1:

hi michelle!! looks like ive missed exciting stuff when i was gone! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!
i am always having computer problems since i have dial up too...always fun!!

Michelle--it was an off week for me too, so well get back on track together starting tomorrow! sound good? keep it up! we can do it :)

Michelle - I LOVE when you take charge like that!!!!! You go girl :cool1: :cool1: Bring some upbeat music when you go, I always find that it helps me. Start slow, especially with weights if you haven't tackled that yet and work your way up. It's amazing how much stronger I've become in the last 6 months. I know you can do this and together, we'll get in shape for that picture in May :D Don't think about how you've done the past couple of days (I should talk  ) and start off fresh tomorrow.

That's fine about breakfast. I just want to be able to meet you in person, so if you can only stop by (for that picture :bitelip: ) that would be great. We'll figure out a time as we get closer.

Hey Michelle...sorry you had such a nasty week! But you are right...once you get that routine down for the gym...I know you will be heck on wheels! :moped: Let us know how the first day goes at the gym!

You sound very determined Michelle! It is going to be a great week for you! You give so much inspiration to everyone here! Take the desire and go! :cool1:

I'm glad you went! That's great. Sorry they didn't show you around. Were they trying to sell you on a memebership? Sounds like you had a great workout.

I hope you are having a good day! :D

Glad you made it to the gym! I absolutley hate the darn stair master!!! Out of everything that is my least favorite... In my eyes you didn't miss much (ok.. I 'm biased... I know!)

Have a great rest of the day!

Hey Michelle - Good for you getting to the gym. This is where is all starts :earseek: I know the gym can be overwelming, but stick with it, you'll get more comfortable with machines and more willing to try new ones. I watch people too, see how they are using certain machines and then try them after.

Keep taking it slow and work your way up on those weights. It's amazing how much you'll hurt those first few days.

Have a great day!!!

michelle--good for you for going!! theres really no gyms around here and i have one on campus, but hate going alone..so curves it is --good for you!!!!!!

Way to go Michelle!!!! I am so proud of you for going to the gym! I hope you really like it! :cool1:

I wanted to stop in and recommend Joel Osteen's book to you. It's called Your Best Life Now: 7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential. It is such an encouraging book! I told my DH that I could hear Joel's voice as I read the book because it sounds so much like his sermons! :teeth:

The really cool thing is that a few weeks ago, we had an evangelist named Frank Butler come to our church. Talk about an amazing service!!! :earseek: His message was so encouraging and uplifting, yet challenging at the same time. Yesterday, I went to Frank's website and guess where he is a member? Lakewood Church!!! That is so cool! Just goes to show... it's a small world after all. :teeth:

Have a great Tuesday, Michelle! Keep up the good work! :cheer2:
