Thank you so much for brightening up my journal (and my whole day!) yesterday by serenading me with "You've Lost That Bloated Feeling!" :teeth: I swear I sang it all day! I'm going to go bug Doreen--since she's made up that song for me, I think she also needs to get Tom Cruise and several Top Gun Navy pilots to sing it to me--it's only fair, right?!:hyper:

Ah don't feel to bad about not losing a pound. It's the gaining that's the bummer.
Well it looks like things maybe a little peaceful here this Sunday with no panic about Ivan around the corner. Ive got my periferal eye on him though. Don't want to blink with him out there in the gulf. But the forecast does look better for us... But not our neighbors to the north in the panhandle.
I am going to cheer you on for next week girl..

Yes, congratulations. You maintained despite the evil presance of BLOAT FAIRY. That is an accomplishment, and I am sure that you will post a loss this week. I am sending :wizard: to shoo the bloat fairy away.

I want to add my congratulations along with Beth's! TOM can be such a difficult time to see a drop on the scale and on the measuring tape! I usually gain 2-2.5 lbs. around that time, and in 3 days it goes away on it's own. It is frustrating, though, especially when you've eaten well and exercised and STILL see no change. I'm bettin' the farm that you'll see a good loss this week once you're off your cycle (I swear, the stuff women go through:rolleyes: )!

Hey Michelle! First off...let me tell you that I loved the pictures! They are great!

Next, don't worry about not losing this week...as you said...you are bloated...and you know that water retention is so mean. Congrats on getting to the quarter mark of your exercise challenge.

Thanks so much for being such a wonderful support to me. You always have something uplifiting to say! Your posts are so encouraging! I appreciate them more than you know!

Sorry the weather is making you so achy. But at least you didn't waste the day...you made the most of it!

My parents settled on the house in Spring Hill. I'll be down the week of Thanksgiving! You can kick me in the butt then! Hopefully, it will be smaller...LOL!!! My son is going down with my parents this weekend...provided weather cooperates.

Thanks so much for your sweet & kind post in my journal--it put such a big smile on my face! :)

I'm sorry you were in a funk this past week, but am glad you're feeling better. :hug: My Dr. supervised my initial 110 pound weight loss, and one of the things he told me is that estrogen is stored in fat cells and that sometimes while you're losing weight this can throw your hormones a little out of balance. I know it happened to me--especially in the beginning when my weight loss was at it's greatest and most rapid (dh never knew what emotion was coming at him next)! So, blame it on that AWESOME 9 POUNDS YOU'VE LOST!!! :cheer2:

I have to agree with you on Chili's....it is one of my absolute favorite places to eat! My weakness is there triple play appetizer....not very low cal at all....:(
You have to have some indulgent days though!

Like I said before...I LOVE Chili's!! I love their chips & salsa...yum! Chili's is really my downfall...my kids always pipe in when I ask where they want to go..and they say "NOT Chili's" :(
