600 loop water sites

We will be at the Fort mid-September and would like some opinions on the new 600 loop water sites. Any information (good or bad) would be very helpful.

The 600's are in a great location, near marina, beach, pool, trading post & campfire sing a long. While the view is pretty over the water, there is hardly ANY shade. We rode our bikes through and giggled at the fact that they named it "sunny sage" as it was BRUTAL! My only other concern would be being that close to water in Florida= MOSQUITOS!!

We were in site 606 in August last year. The newer sites in the loop (lower numbers) do not have shade, but there is more space between sites than the older sites in the loop. We backed up to the water. We were surprised at how quiet it was at our site, being close to the Meadows Trading Post, the Bike Barn, and the "movie theater". We thought it was a great location. Didn't notice any more mosquitos than any other place.
