Yikes, I just realized I am only 5 days out from my 60 day mark. I haven't done any real planning yet for the parks. What things do I need to book at 60 days out in order to not miss out? PTN? WOC?

Yep, nothing... and many times the dining packages don't show up until park hours are posted (after 60 days).... Thank goodness it's DLR and not WDW. ~~relax~~

Note that you may not be able to book some entertainment dinning at 60 days. If they have not finalized the entertainment schedule. But very few things NEED to be booked that far in advance. Things are much more relaxed at Disneyland than WDW, many things can be booked the day before.

With that said, book any meals you KNOW you want to have. Blue Bayou, Carthay Circle, Carnation Cafe, Character Meals, etc.

Typically, you can book restaurants at 60 days and tours and shows (e.g., WOC dessert party) at 30 days.

We just entered our window and booked everything, including the WOC dessert party. I was surprised to be able to do so this early as others have eluded. I like to book the things I know we want now and make changes as the trip approaches. The more relaxed planning at DLR is nice, but still requires attention in the summer as things do book up a bit more quickly for the higher priority locations mentioned by others. Relax and enjoy your trip knowing you don't need FP+ decisions at 60 days.

As a WDW vet, I have to admit that I HATE that I can't do all of planning at DLR that I do for WDW. It makes me feel uneasy. I have booked a PTN at Aladdin's, a lunch at Cafe Orleans and the WOC dessert party. But I wish I could have each day completely planned out with fastpasses already made. That makes me feel secure. This is gonna take some getting used to, and it makes me anxious! ;)

Sheesh...I do not even book my trips 60 days out!...I am leaving for a trip tomorrow that we just confirmed Thursday of last week and got all the reservations I wanted, including WOC Dessert Seating...so relax and fuhgeddaboudit.

Certainly book what you want to do, but don't stress over having to lock everything in so far out!

We head down June 24, and I have my room booked! I'm still debating what we want....
