A young 13-year old boy that our youngest son used to coach in wrestling when Markie still came home during the summers, is in Children's Memorial Hospital in a coma and on life support. He needs a liver transplant immediately. Unfortunately, now his kidneys are failing and he is on dialysis 24/7. It is not looking good. But I have seen the power of prayer work before so I'm asking all of you to say a prayer for this young boy.
Thanks.
In case any of you missed it posted yesterday, I am 150 days out from my girls trip with Mary (MaryAZ), Avery and Cayley...purchased the airfare yesterday as I couldn't pass up the price of $213.80 round trip.A PTR will be done but not until this puppy is done; I cannot do two reports at the same time again...that was brutal (as it is I'm behind on a few threads).
So glad you were able to get a great price, I know they were going up and down for a while...you are such a good bargain hunter!
So back to this TR. It is now Saturday, December 8. Having slept a tad better the night before, I was up at 6:00 a.m. to shower and get dressed. Mark followed after me and we left our room a few minutes before 7. Yes, I only mentioned Mark and me. Andy and Des, being the VERY young people in this group, were too tired to get up and join us for our breakfast ADR and said they'd meet us at the park later that morning. Your loss guys, not ours. And next time suck it up! If we can do it at almost age 55 and 60, you sure as heck can at 26 and 23!
I knew the kids were going to zonk out on us, only us cool old folks can crash late after a heavy meal and get up super early for KONA COFFEE! We were the smart ones because breakfast was amazing! I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Mark and I walked to El Centro so we could catch a cab. A few pictures on the way. It was still dark and VERY foggy.
Coffee in hand, we went out front and caught a cab. We were headed here:
You had coffee before breakfast too? Oh my you are an addict lol! I cannot believe how yucky the weather was when we left the Dolphin, my hair looked great in the hotel but as soon as we walked out to valet I could feel it curling right up and puffing right out! Stupid humidity!
We were there early...our ADR wasn't until 7:30, so we took the time to take a few pictures of the Poly tree and some of the resort:
Great pictures of us, and we do not look sleepy either!
As you can see in Nicki's dining reviews, we had a wonderful breakfast as always at Kona...this is a keeper for us. And the four of us had FOUR pressed coffee pots. We took what was leftover with us as we hopped on the monorail.
Can you believe that we all had our own pressed pot? They were so good too and I was glad for the to go cup! Breakfast was wonderful, we were having such a good time and why is it that the only ones hyper from the java was Mark and myself? You and Todd were normal compared to us nut bags
I love this picture of Todd and Nicki (used with Instagram that Des showed us how to use):

I love this one too!
Our monorail ride:

These pictures totally crack me up, Todd is a sleeping beauty and Mark is the most happy relaxed man ever! These are great!
First stop, some photos of the Christmas decorations:
Despite the terrible fog walking into MK and seeing all the decorations was incredible and I cannot believe we waited 2 days to get there lol
After visiting with everyone's favorite Mouse, it was back to Main Street. And we decided to stop for some photopass pictures while it was still rather empty. You will see in the pictures just how humid and foggy it was at 9:00 in the morning.
Then the photopass photographer asked if I wanted "wings?" I said, "sure, why not?"

So....what will be our first attraction of the day? Come back later to find out.
