Wow!! I got a little behind!!
Loved the photo of you two kissing Mickey and the boys covering their eyes! Also loved the photo of Mark relaxing on the monorail. Perfect picture of blissful happiness.
Weren't Osborne Lights just amazing? I love the Carol of the Bells by TSO section of the music and the lights going. I remember my kids thinking they would try catching the "snow" on their tongues! I was laughing and telling them it was soap and they didn't want to believe me.
I don't remember ever seeing Santa Goofy out there. We did catch all the Fab 5 in their Christmas costumes (along with 2 michievous chipmunks) in Camp Minnie Mickey at AK.
Great updates!!

Awesome airfare you got for summer! Hoping to get something fairly decent for summer trips as well. Thinking 3rd week of June and then again end of August. Of course, we just miss out on the discount for summer. Nephew doesn't get out of school early enough.:(

Anxiously awaiting the next update!!

Catching up....again. :rotfl:

Looks like y'all had a fun night in DHS! Aren't the Osbourne Lights lovely? I'm really excited to see them again this year. :yay:

I have been saying that we will get to Kona for breakfast one of these years. Well, as of now, I have it on our tentative ADR list for this December. You always make me want to have breakfast there!

Love all of the Photopass pics! I think my fave is the one where you have wings.

So back to this TR. It is now Saturday, December 8. Having slept a tad better the night before, I was up at 6:00 a.m. to shower and get dressed. Mark followed after me and we left our room a few minutes before 7. Yes, I only mentioned Mark and me. Andy and Des, being the VERY young people in this group, were too tired to get up and join us for our breakfast ADR and said they'd meet us at the park later that morning. Your loss guys, not ours. And next time suck it up! If we can do it at almost age 55 and 60, you sure as heck can at 26 and 23! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mark and I walked to El Centro so we could catch a cab. A few pictures on the way. It was still dark and VERY foggy.

These kids now a days they have it too good. Geez, not only did we have to wake up every day for school at 5:00 am, but we had to walk up hill to and from school everyday in a foot of snow for two miles. And it didn't get any easier when we were in our 20's. Oh wait, I was still in high school at that age. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I can't even imagine not being able to get ones butt out of bed for WDW.:rotfl2:

Kathy, you have got me so excited for my upcoming trip this year the last week of November-first week of December. Problem is this is only January. :(

Loved the MK update!

Kona is on our must do for this trip... Unfortunately, I think the girls vetoed me in favor of O'hana - sigh... I don't mind O'hana, it's good... but it doesn't seem that you can ever get in to your ADR time on time (or even close)... So, I guess we will go there with the mind set that we will be sitting there for an hour before we get seated. Grrr....

Can't believe all the humidity and fog... I could use some of that warm weather right now though.

And I think you look magnificant with wings!

D~

You ,me and Bill Cosby:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Wow! I've never seen foggy castle pictures before. Kinda cool. Kona is a must do for me too. Both breakfast and dinner. Yum!

Yay for airfare booked for your June trip! You got a great deal.

Loved the pictures of the MK tree! We missed seeng it by a few days because they didn't put it up till after the parade taping. I loved those Mickey shaped wreaths on Main Street. I really want one for my front door at home.

Great pictures with Mickey, I love the one of the girls kissing him and the guys hiding their eyes. And the photopass with the wings was so cute! I've never seen that one before.

A young 13-year old boy that our youngest son used to coach in wrestling when Markie still came home during the summers, is in Children's Memorial Hospital in a coma and on life support. He needs a liver transplant immediately. Unfortunately, now his kidneys are failing and he is on dialysis 24/7. It is not looking good. But I have seen the power of prayer work before so I'm asking all of you to say a prayer for this young boy.

Thanks.

God is still in the healing business. Prayers are going up for this young child. ;)

So sorry to hear this Kathy.. We will be praying for him. :grouphug:

Amen! Slackers...

Can anyone guess where here is?

The Polynesian, or I'll eat one of Mark's goofy hats.

Well, if you haven't figured it out yet, we were at the Poly and we were having breakfast here:

Excellent choice.:thumbsup2

And the four of us had FOUR pressed coffee pots. We took what was leftover with us as we hopped on the monorail.

Did not. You sent the poor concierge out for Starbucks. Admit it. :rotfl2:

We got through bag check and were on our way inside the Magic Kingdom. I couldn't believe we had been here two days already and still had not been to the Magic Kingdom.

That's not a bad problem to have, actually.

After visiting with everyone's favorite Mouse, it was back to Main Street. And we decided to stop for some photopass pictures while it was still rather empty. You will see in the pictures just how humid and foggy it was at 9:00 in the morning.

Not very Christmas-y, is it? But I'm still jealous that you were there. :rotfl:

Then the photopass photographer asked if I wanted "wings?" I said, "sure, why not?"

Nice! But that means you're the lucky volunteer to be Tink during Wishes.

Oh no! Will definitely pay for him.

I've never had breakfast at Kona, but I loved my dinner there a couple of trips ago, so would definitely like to try it for breakfast. So you had coffee at El Centro and then had a whole pressed pot at Kona? Wow. --> :hyper:

Praying for this young boy and his family.

Kona Cafe is another place on my list of places I need to try! I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much.

I love your MK photos. I don't think I've seen the photopass picture with the fairy wings before, it is so cute!!

We had one morning on our December trip that was really foggy like that. It is kind of eerie!

Oh that poor kid. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Hopefully something will come through for him.
