Again, such nice pictures of the two of you when you went to the Yachsmen! Sorry that there was a screaming baby that put a damper on your meal. :( I honestly would wonder about taking any child to a signature restaurant...but if I had a screamer? I would know and well... we wouldn't be taking that child there.

Love your stroll around the Boardwalk. What a nice evening!

How cool to see parts of Fantasmic like that. :cool1:

Breakfast looked good. I have never been there for breakfast. There are so many good places... it is just hard to chose.

I thought you got free parking with an AP. Glad it worked out that way. :thumbsup2

I wonder if the spots on Soarin's screen are ever going to get fixed? I find it a distraction too. I didn't go on it this last trip... sad to hear they are getting worse.:(

After listeninig to the land, we headed over to one of my favorites (sorry Mark)
That doesn't look like ToT. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Now I've got the Imagination song stuck in my head. At least it isn't the one from that boat ride in the MK.:lmao:

I can just hear the Mine Mine's now. I think when I'm there next month with Mary, I'll call Mark and let him listen. :rotfl2::rotfl2: I am so evil.
::yes:: That is just cruel. :rolleyes1

We enjoyed our flight as always. But I do have to say that the spots on the screen are becoming quite a distraction and take away from the whole effect of the film.
I definitely agree with that! I've been in favor of a refurb of that one for quite a while now!

love all your photos!

must say Mark is working that princess crown :rotfl2::rotfl2: and he definitely needs the figment hat :rotfl::rotfl:

nice you got the big glass of juice at Boma! sorry you didn't like the pressed pot....am excited to try it at Kona for our last day breakfast, I'll be wired that whole day since I'll be the only one drinking it!

Soarin' in both parks need an upgrade on the screens DCA is getting bad too!

We made our walk to the entrance and I went through the bag line which seemed to take forever. Seriously, can they not figure out a faster way to do this?

I'm finding the answer to bag lines is to wear cargo shorts.

After listeninig to the land, we headed over to one of my favorites (sorry Mark):

You don't have to apologize to me. I'm not the one who had to suffer through the ride. :rotfl:

I can just hear the Mine Mine's now. I think when I'm there next month with Mary, I'll call Mark and let him listen. :rotfl2::rotfl2: I am so evil.

Very, very cruel. I love it. :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

We enjoyed our flight as always. But I do have to say that the spots on the screen are becoming quite a distraction and take away from the whole effect of the film.

I bet there's a high-definition refurb coming at some point.

That is how I handled it before the kids came along!

These kids really cramp our style.

Please, please, please let this happen. And add multiple "flights," (kind of like Star Tours) not just some pasted together set of clips from California. :rolleyes1

Soarin': New Jersey. :thumbsup2

Would you sponsor one for Indiana? I can only imagine the farm-fresh smells they'd have to pipe into the theater from manure-spreading season. :crazy2:

I'd post ideas for a Soarin': Delaware, but I think the flight would be over in 15 seconds.

Just :wave2: to let you know I'm still here :)
You know I love to read your stuff but I don't post all the time, especially with the last month I've had.

This particular update is getting me even more excited, I can't wait to see/share Figment with my girl.

Oh sweetie, you have had a really rough month and I don't blame you at all for not posting. I hope you and DD have a marvelous trip. :)

cool lettuce bar, i dont think i have seen that before.

Dan, they told us while they were doing the feeding, that that particular sea turtle, the female, was on a diet and they kept trying to get it away from her. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Awesome! Soarin, LWTL, Figment and the Seas all in one update! They are all must dos for me at Epcot.

I'm glad to see somewhere here has good sense. ;)

You got a picture of my DHs chickens on LWTL! I can never get a picture of them to come out.

I was really surprised it came out.

I love the one picture of the sea turtle, so cute.

She was so funny...she kept trying to steal the food away.

I agree that the spots on Soarin are distracting. I did discover though when I rode it three times on my solo trip that the spots are only visable from certain seats. So depending on where you sit, you may or may not see the spots.

Hmmm.....I'll have to try some different seats if possible.

Oh, and the Boma question you asked. I really have no idea why DH didn't want to eat there. I e-mailed him links to the menus for all the restaurants I would eat at and he said yes or no to each one. It's funny because he's not a picky eater but he is very picky about restaurants he likes to eat at.

Very strange indeed. I hope you get to go in February.

Sounds like a perfect morning in Epcot. I am really looking forward to seeing that park this summer. When I try to plan my schedule I have myself going to Epcot like every day! :lmao:

When planning our days for our August trip, I found I had Epcot for four days out of our 7...I had to fix that. :rotfl2:

Another cute hat picture for Mark!

Thanks.

Awww The ducks even know how to make a Mickey...

You have a great eye, Pat.

Awesome way to spend the morning.

It was a fun morning.

I agree - the black flickers are really bad now. Some first-timers think it's supposed to be something that's part of the movie until they figure out after a few minutes that it's just a distracting glitch.

They really need to fix it; I've noticed a decline in "fixing" attractions...not like the old days.

The wonderful Boma aroma lures me down those stairs every time!

It's wonderful, isn't it?

Yay for Zawadi! It is a destination within itself, since it has such unique things other than the usual touristy stuff.

I totally agree; I've gotten some great souvenir, gifts for people in that shop that aren't necessarily Disney.

I love these two photos! You look really lovely in that outfit and so happy!

Thank you. :)

I've never been to the Yachtsman (I'm not a steak eating kinda gal) but it looks delicious!

I could alternate fish one night and steak the next for an entire month...love it.

All caught up!

:yay::yay: so happy.

What a fun night on the Boardwalk you had!

It was; we have to make a habit of doing that more often.

AKL is so beautiful, and Boma looks delicious (another restaurant I haven't yet tried)

You and DH must try Boma one of these trips...it is sooooo good.

I love how Mark always poses with hats and stuffies :goodvibes What a good sport!

The man does it for my DIS friends. :)

I just love Soarin and we only got to do it once last trip. And I love Figment, too. We all do. It is a must do whenever we go and there is never a line.

You are right...Figment never has a line. So let those haters stay away...we can get in without a wait.

Sing with me now .....

I-MAG-ination !!

Love it. :rotfl::rotfl:

Looks like you Epcot day was gorgeous. It is gloomy and cool here today. I don't have any plans to do much, so I will just sit here all day and rotate the laundry crop and catch up on everyone's TR's !!

Hope you got the laundry done.

WHEN are they ever going to refurbish that screen?? :confused3 It is ruining what is one of THE best attractions in all of WDW!!

Kathy, I totally agree. Maybe if they got a lot of letters from us they'd figure it out. :confused3

"Mine, Mine, Mine" never, ever gets old!

Kathy

My husband does that frequently since we have those birds around here.

Can't wait to see F&G pics...hope you loved it, the work they do during that time of year is incredible!

I may try to get a few up tonight...if not, tomorrow for sure.

Soarin's still my favorite !!!I am with you in loving Figment !!! Also LOVE "MINE MINE" too !!! I guess I just love it all !!!They are holding you to the FP times now aren't they????

Yes, Rosie, you must come back within that hour time frame. :(

Thank you. :goodvibesI just don't see why it is so hard to take the child out for five minutes and calm them down. They just totally ignored the child.

Love your stroll around the Boardwalk. What a nice evening!

It really was and the weather was perfect.

How cool to see parts of Fantasmic like that. :cool1:

I couldn't believe it when we saw Mickey on the mountain.

Breakfast looked good. I have never been there for breakfast. There are so many good places... it is just hard to chose.

It is...but we are really trying to branch out. We have two new places in August, plus one we've not been to in awhile. For December, I am planning on three new ones. :)

I thought you got free parking with an AP. Glad it worked out that way. :thumbsup2

I guess I never knew that because we always have the window thing from the resort.

I wonder if the spots on Soarin's screen are ever going to get fixed? I find it a distraction too. I didn't go on it this last trip... sad to hear they are getting worse.:(

They really need to...it's getting annoying.

That doesn't look like ToT. :confused3

No, but it's a favorite at Epcot. :)

Now I've got the Imagination song stuck in my head. At least it isn't the one from that boat ride in the MK.:lmao:

Anything is better than that song from the boat ride at the MK.

::yes:: That is just cruel. :rolleyes1

I know. :lmao:

I definitely agree with that! I've been in favor of a refurb of that one for quite a while now!

I understand that they are adding stuff here and there, but they need to take care of what is in place too.

love all your photos!

Thanks, Lisa.

must say Mark is working that princess crown :rotfl2::rotfl2: and he definitely needs the figment hat :rotfl::rotfl:

The man will do anything for all these goofy people on the DIS.

nice you got the big glass of juice at Boma! sorry you didn't like the pressed pot....am excited to try it at Kona for our last day breakfast, I'll be wired that whole day since I'll be the only one drinking it!

Mark and I each get our "own" pressed pot coffee at Kona now because we love it that much.

Soarin' in both parks need an upgrade on the screens DCA is getting bad too!

That's a shame that it that way in both parks :(

I'm finding the answer to bag lines is to wear cargo shorts.

I'll wear mine next time and see if it helps.

You don't have to apologize to me. I'm not the one who had to suffer through the ride. :rotfl:

I did not suffer...I sang along.

Very, very cruel. I love it. :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

How can I resist? ;)

I bet there's a high-definition refurb coming at some point.

I'll just take the screen being fixed.

That is how I handled it before the kids came along!

Darn kids...always screwing things up. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Please, please, please let this happen. And add multiple "flights," (kind of like Star Tours) not just some pasted together set of clips from California. :rolleyes1

Yes, different places would be nice.

These kids really cramp our style.

They sure do...and cost us a fortune (even when they are 25 years old!)

Soarin': New Jersey. :thumbsup2

There you go!

Would you sponsor one for Indiana? I can only imagine the farm-fresh smells they'd have to pipe into the theater from manure-spreading season. :crazy2:

Ewwwwwww

I'd post ideas for a Soarin': Delaware, but I think the flight would be over in 15 seconds.

Now that's funny. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Are you two done hijacking my thread yet? ;)

I'm going to attempt a short update.

First, a little personal note: Happy 87th Birthday, daddy. I miss you every day and love you always. Wish you were here for your grandson's wedding next month....you'd love Alisha; but I know you are smiling from above for them.

After we finished up with the fish feeding, we headed over towards Mission. The line wasn't long, so Mark went for his ride while I got a cappuccino and sat and people watched (and checked the office email).

This guy was outside of Mission:

After that we headed over to the building that used to hold Body Wars to see what was inside. On the way, we passed these:

Up the pathway to the building:

Once inside:

They had some seminars going on, but we were on a mission to see as much as we could outside in our limited amount of time, so no seminars for us. Perhaps another trip. I took a few pictures as we walked around:

Some items for sale:

And this guy came home with us. Well, he actually didn't "come home" with us...we had him shipped home. And he now has a spot on the front porch:

After we finished, we made a stop at a restroom and then were heading to the Odyssey building to transfer our AP's to the new cards. A few pictures along the way:

Up next...a slight detour before we hit the Odyssey

We spent a lot of time shopping in the festival center building last year. Cute stuff! I think MiL has most of it now ;) Too bad they don't make F&G hats for Mr. Mark. :confused3

such great flower and garden pics!

And anxious to know what you mean about exchanging your ap for the new tickets. Mine is just a piece of paper and I am just sure it it going to get ruined.

Thanks for all the updates, Kathy. :thumbsup2
It took me quite some time to catch up here, but I love all your photos! :thumbsup2
Looks like such a fun time, buy why not, you were in Florida and at Disney.

Man now I'm wishing that I had extended my March trip by one day so I could have seen the Flower and Garden stuff! I :lovestruc that Minnie Mouse shirt.

I totally missed the Pluto topiary if it was out. I only went on that side of the park to ride TT so it could have been there.

Are you two done hijacking my thread yet? ;)
:confused3 Not likely.

First, a little personal note: Happy 87th Birthday, daddy. I miss you every day and love you always. Wish you were here for your grandson's wedding next month....you'd love Alisha; but I know you are smiling from above for them.
And even though I don't know the man, I can't help but think of him, and you, when I see those balloons on Main Street.

This guy was outside of Mission:
Love all those character topiaries!

After that we headed over to the building that used to hold Body Wars to see what was inside. On the way, we passed these
I'd love to go in there just to see that building. I miss that place. Such a waste.

Some items for sale
Love the Mickey gnomes. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Fun update! Makes me sad to have missed it this year but I know it will be lovely next year. So pretty!! Love those topiares and some cute merch this year. The weather looks absolutely perfect.

Your pictures are so beautiful!! I'd love to go at this time of the year to see the F&G festival.

Happy birthday to your dad as well :grouphug:

They really had some cute stuff. I would definitely like to go back and get a few of those Mickey gnomes. Yes, we were very disappointed that there were no hats. :(

such great flower and garden pics!

Thanks, Ann.

And anxious to know what you mean about exchanging your ap for the new tickets. Mine is just a piece of paper and I am just sure it it going to get ruined.

They are converting all of the "paper" tickets into plastic cards (think KTTW card). You got your choice of character too...either Mickey, Minnie or one other...it might have been Goofy (Mark and I got Mickey and Minnie).

Thanks for all the updates, Kathy. :thumbsup2
It took me quite some time to catch up here, but I love all your photos! :thumbsup2
Looks like such a fun time, buy why not, you were in Florida and at Disney.

Hi, Karin. No worries...I know how hard it is to stay up to date (and things are going to get worse this next month with our trip and the wedding).

Thanks...it's hard NOT to have a good time in Florida.

Man now I'm wishing that I had extended my March trip by one day so I could have seen the Flower and Garden stuff! I :lovestruc that Minnie Mouse shirt.

I am so glad we took the day to go and see it. It was a cute shirt.

I totally missed the Pluto topiary if it was out. I only went on that side of the park to ride TT so it could have been there.

Pluto was over by the Festival Center. If you didn't go that way, you would have missed it.

:confused3 Not likely.

I didn't think so. :sad2:

And even though I don't know the man, I can't help but think of him, and you, when I see those balloons on Main Street.

You are very sweet.

Love all those character topiaries!

They do such a marvelous job with them.

I'd love to go in there just to see that building. I miss that place. Such a waste.

I agree; that was one of my favorite pavilions and I miss the show they had in there and Body Wars.

Love the Mickey gnomes. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I have the chimes, but want to get a flower pot next time or something.

Fun update! Makes me sad to have missed it this year but I know it will be lovely next year. So pretty!! Love those topiares and some cute merch this year. The weather looks absolutely perfect.

Cynthia, it was 84 degrees, sunny the whole day and I got a nice little glow to me that day (and no it wasn't the Slush...I know one of the guys would say something about it).

Your pictures are so beautiful!! I'd love to go at this time of the year to see the F&G festival.

I really am happy we finally got to see it...truly remarkable.

Happy birthday to your dad as well :grouphug:

Thank you; I can't believe it will be five years in August that he left us. We all think about him every day.

I'm enjoying the Flower & Garden Festival so much! Every time I read about it, I miss it so. Why couldn't they extend it out a bit so that we could see it in two weeks?

great photos of all the flowers and topiary's! I love the dopey statue you got! the mickey gnomes are cute too!
