6 year old boy like Cinderella's Royal Table?

Has anyone ever taken their boy to this? Would you recommend. I want to take my 3 year old daughter, but don't want to go by ourselves, would really like to do all things together as a family.

my 7yo son LOVED it! (and not just the food) he loved the royal treatment! he loved the princesses fawning over him! he loved being in the castle! there was nothing he did not like about it!

I've never done it, but I know my 4yo DS would love all the attention from all those pretty girls.

Maybe you can bargain with him and let him pick a character meal to do for dinner one night. Chef Mickeys or something. Then even if he doesn't enjoy it, he will realilze that it's for his sister and his turn is coming up.

We didnt do it until my older son was 10. Too old. He wanted no part of it. But really by then he wanted no part of any of the charactures. But at 7 I think youre good.

What about a family of boys and no daughters? Anyone done it with only guys? My boys will be 5, 5, and 2 1/2. I am probably the only one who's into princesses. We have all the "princess" movies, but they really dont watch them as much as Toy Story or Monsters Inc. Do you think they'll like it, or should i just forget it?

My family went last year and we took my DD3, my DS8, my almost 5 yr. old nephew and my 2 yr. old nephew. Everyone enjoyed the royal traetment and the delicious food. My son didn't want to go at first but he nicely went because of his sister. It is one of my favorite memories and eating in the castle is truly a magical Disney moment.

My sons are 4 and 2. We went in October with 2 of my girlfriends and their kids. They both have 2 daughters so CRT was a must for them. I've always wanted to do breakfast in the castle but with 2 sons that hadn't happened yet. I was able to talk them into going with me since our group would be there (as in Mommy will take you back to WDW just us and no Daddy but only if you will eat with Cinderella and not complain ). Considering that my 4 year old regularly announced "we don't need stinkin' princesses!" that was a big thing. They both had fun though. My oldest was "princessed out" by the end of the meal and ready to go by the time Cinderella stopped by but he did enjoy it. My 2 year old LOVED all the attention. He actually developed a big crush on Belle as well. To the point where he threw a fit when we had to leave Story Time With Belle on our Christmas trip.

I'd say try it now b/c he's more likely to have fun at 6 than he will in a few more years.

We didn't get in to the Breakfast at the Castle but we did the Princess Breakfast in Norway (EPCOT). My DS (8 at the time) loved it. He took a picture with each Princess and got their autographs (so did my DD - 5). Princess Jasmine read the first page of his autograph book where he had placed his name and address and just by chance was able to name his elementary school (used to live in Hauppauge, Long Island for a short period of time in her life). He was totally amazed. I guess it depends on the child. I would assume a 6 yr old would just be in awe of seeing the characters "come alive".

We are going to the castle this year....DS can't wait.

We went for DD's 8th birthday when DS was 4. Now that we're planning DS's 8th birthday trip, he specifically requested CRT - I think the castle and the "royal treatment" do make the meal stand out as truly special, even in the midst of all the magic at WDW.

My son who is almost 8 has been to both PSB and CRT on at least a couple of occasions since he was 4. He has always seemed to enjoy himself and has been happy to take pictures and get autographs.

I'm sure this will be changing soon, but he know he has to go along with his sister's wishes in order to go to the character meals that he prefers.

A 6 year old boy should love it. Most 9-14 yr olds wouldn't, but then all of a sudden at 15 or so, they'll go just to see Cinderella, LOL! At 6 they are still not affected by what they "think" boys should like as older boys are.

Last year my DD let my DGC each pick one place they wanted to eat. My DGS, then 5 yo , choose to go back to CRT for the breakfast. We went last year and then again this year. He loved it both times. My DGD is 10 yo, this was the first year she didn't seem too interested in it, but still enjoyed herself when we went. Definately do it , we have some great pictures of the princesses kissing my DGS
