The calendar is beginning to appear!!!! Isn't that a lovely shade of blue on the dates in October?
I clicked on my request and got nothing...
So I called to have a CM make my reservation.
They said while the calendar is there, it doesn't go ACTIVE until Wednesday.
Today the reservation information is being loaded into the system.

MARK your calendars. WEDNESDAY is our day for October RESERVATION!!!

Woohoo! Thanks for the update :-) My calendar is marked!

I was just about to post that I too see the calendar for Oct but can't make a reservation. Thanks for finding out from a CM that it will go live tomorrow. Looking forward to getting this taken care of! Bummed that the Sun night show is so late (9pm) - will have DD7 w us who usually goes to bed at 8 and want to do rope drop on Monday before we fly home but then I noticed Monday rope drop may not be until 10am so I guess we'll be able to sleep in. Yay!

YES!!! I have been waiting for this. We arrive Sept 30!

A repeat almost to the day of what happened last year. BUT...A ONE DAY IMPROVEMENT

I don't even need to schedule anything specific, but I just want to see what their hours are going to be like in October, and what might be down! (But I'm grateful Disneyland is more flexible. We've talked about a WDW trip in a few years, even just me and my husband, and the level of non-flexible planning involved makes my
head spin!)

Its my first trip to WDW this October and dealing with the transportation alone is makes my head spin. I like how at Disneyland you can just to walk to everything. The Disneyland folks have been stalking the site for a month waiting for dining packages to show up-I stalked MDE for 4 months waiting for Rivers of Light dining packages to open up. Its like Disneyland planning stress on STEROIDS. Fasspass day was a really irritating day getting up at 3:45am 60 days before my trip (on my sons first day of school) and still not getting a FP for new ride in Pandora.

Right? It's craziness. I've only been to WDW once, and it was 20 years ago now (yikes.) when I was 15, with a school event. We didn't plan anything, and it was fun. But it's a whole different ballgame now. Even if we could afford the flights I don't think I would ever take my kids there (vs DLR) because the planning aspect would kill. me. off. I would be so stressed trying to make everyone be on time (and feel happy and magical, gosh-darn-it!) to our different fastpasses and reservations.

Yup it is.. us over planners are losing our minds haha... My biggest concern is we have 7 in our party and am thinking that getting fantasmic package might be hard. Tomorrow I will try to get our Fantasmic dinner reservation and can relax and wait for WOC Des :rolleyes1

I feel for you - have definitely been there on the WDW side. I remember one of my 180 dining reservation days, my DD had the stomach flu all night, she finally feel asleep around 3:00 and I had to set alarm for 6:00 to make sure I got a Be Out Guest!
This is why I like to do a disney trip and a beach trip.... I plan NOTHING for the beach, just relaxation!

My reservations are now complete!

My how the thread tone changes once we can make our reservations....
