What a great opening weekend. I really enjoyed the England game on Saturday and it was great to see Jonny Wilkinson back. The Wales v Scotland game was good too. I didn't see the Italy v France game (did anyone ? was it good ?)

I hope England win, and if not then any of the home nations will do for me

I look forward to next weekend :thumbsup2

I think it's going to be a difficult one to call.

England, Ireland and France are all in with a shout. I guess Ireland would be the favourites as they have 2 home matches coming up against France and England.

One things for sure, it's going to make for some exciting matches.

Oh go on then, after watching frustrated as anything on Saturday, lets hope our boys do better this Saturday, looking forward to a good game.:thumbsup2

I reckon England will just about take it, if they can stay with the pace of Wales and Ireland. After Sunday's match they were without a doubt much quicker than the other teams.
Here's hoping!!

you must still be hung over from the Superbowl:rotfl2:

still not a bad loser:rotfl:

I'm hoping Ireland can win, its bound to be our turn by now.

I'm a life long Ulster supporter and its great to see some of our guys eventually get a look in for the team.

Big test for the Irish this weekend I think. If the French are on-song then they are easily capable of the win, but, as with the French the quesion is a big "if"!

Not too keen on our game against the Italians with a few of the pack missing.

Cannot really see the Welsh losing to Scotland, but, the Scots will be looking for a home win, and if they can slow the Welsh down a little may have a chance I think.

I don't think the Irish were unlucky - they just didn't play the right tactics! They had a number of penalties withing kicking range but chose to play the advantage.

It was a great game though!

Nice to see a decent game after yesterday's boring affairs.
I agree with Tim, Ireland didn't take their chances.

Kev

I'd agree with Kev's synopsis, but I would also say that the Irish tackling left a little to be desired. They certainly lsot the game because of poor tackling and letting the French guy in.

Will be interesting to see what England can do against Ireland and France, but at then moment I do not see any clear winner. Possibly the French look the best?
