6 months ago I couldn't pack soon enough i was putting things together making check lists etc i couldnt wait to go

and tomorrow is one week to go but i cant seem to be bothered to pack. Whats the matter with me i am soooo excited its all i think about.

i just found out last week where i work will be closing exactly a week after i get home. I am worrying about how much money i should spend on holiday and all i can think is that i am missing out on a whole week to look for another job

i dont know what im looking for advice or insperation i dont know but i just needed to get it out you know obv every one else at work is stressing about finding another job, DBF is busy planning and busy getting every thing done at work before he goes. Mum and dad are away so i just needed to say it.

I dont even care if no one replys just feel a bit better now and a glass of wine he he

i think i deffintly need a holiday lol

I'm sure once you are on your way to the airport you will start to feel much better.
So sorry to hear about your job situation, its bound to affect you and I'm not surprised you don't feel much like packing with everything on your mind. You are in need of a break and there's nothing like a holiday to give you a better outlook on things.

Dont get down,this is what youv'e planned for and a week isnt going to make that much difference,see it as a way of relaxing, refocusing on what you really would love to do,and another upshot is you will have a lovely tan that will look glowing at an interview! .Don't want to make light of your situation but maybe something better is just around the corner,best wishes Rachel

Go and enjoy yourself, there's no better place to go than WDW to relax and leave all your problems behind. When you get home you'll be in a far better position and state of mind to refocus and sort things out.

Really sorry to hear about your work situation.

Life always throws surprises at us, sometimes good sometimes not so good, but just think in a week's time you will be at WDW and getting some of the good surprises.

Try and have a great time, it sounds like you have been planning for a while. Come back refreshed and ready to face the not so good surprises!

After all the months of planning, I often get a heavy feeling as the trip gets close. Sometimes it's a week before, other times just a day or so, and I've even been known to get it on the way to the airport. It's almost as if, after all the anticipation, it's an anti-climax. I have no theory to offer, but the good news is that it doesn't last long.

Give yourself permission to go away and forget about your worries - that's what WDW is all about.

I think from reading your post you're going for a week but even if your going for 2 - I wouldn't worry

Most firms looking for employees allow a decent closing date period so if you check before you leave and then when you get back chances are you will catch the application period.

I'd have close family and friends scanning the jobs ads while you're away cutting out any they think you could apply for.

On holiday I would still do everything you wanted to do but would maybe double check you needed all the souveniers in your shopping basket!

Most of all - have a fantastic time - this holiday will come just once but I'm sure many more jobs will come and go throughout your life time. Pack 2 suitcases - one for your hols and another for your concerns and worries and leave the latter at home

lol thank you so much good news found some where offering a job and they are ringing me back today with in the hour eek lol

So i was meant to write last night about my news but i was just so busy working till 7 going out to celebrate mum and dads 25th anniversary and...... preparing for an interview for monday YAY the lady sounds really nice and i feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better thanks to you guys and i feel so much better that i am going to starting my pre trip report im so excited now i've packed my worries and put them away

all i have today is a bit of a hangover lol

6 days exciting x x

had my interview today and got the job oh how more relaxed i feel i cant wait to go now
