6 month luck!

I feel extremely lucky. Over the last few days, I was able to piece together a Thanksgiving studio reservation, that’s not at SSR. I’m doing a split stay at VGF and AKV. I’m stoked about VGF because we’ve never stayed there. For those looking for “last minute” reservations, if your willing to stalk the RAT, there is hope.

We booked BWV for food and wine at 11 months but I just got a new job (yay me!) and I will have to travel around holidays only. It’s nice to plan at 11 months, but with a little bit of determination, under 7 months during a peak DVC time is possible.

Congrats! I agree that there are ways to make things work. I originally booked F & W for Columbus Day weekend right at 11 months. But, when I went to do airfare a few weeks ago, it was crazy. We have a new airline flying from SYR so going Sat to Wed, vs. Fri to Mon, saved me $400! The only problem is that I had to split stay my BWV room with SSR. I put in a WL for Monday, the 8th and it just came through!!! So, now I have 3 nights BWV and 1 night SSR. Added the last night as a WL which I think has an easier chance to fill and hopefully, before Oct, I will have it all back at BWV!
