6 extra fast passes! Wonderful pixie dust experience

We did not like our ground floor room in Moorea, lake view studio. I called and asked if we could move. They were unable to move us for 2 nights. Chris (manager I was talking with) felt so bad he added 6 FP per day for us onto our magic bands. Only restriction was FOP and Frozen.

I was so blown away. Did not expect a thing other than hoping to move, which we did to 3rd floor. We hate ground floor rooms anywhere. We love sitting on the deck and enjoying coffee or a cocktail.

We have ridden everything we wanted. Had booked FP for all the things we wanted already so this was such a bonus. We haven't even used all we have. I never expected this and it has completely changed our trip. We are now FP spoiled and walking on to everything we want. No waiting, just streaming by the line.

Its the little things that Disney does that makes me forget how much I spend to go there. An example on one trip while going to Cinderella's breakfast a CM talked to my daughter and when they found out it was her 11th birthday they gave her a ride on the fire engine to the castle entrance. One little thing and it will always be a great memory for her.
 
WDW has the best customer service.

1. One time we were staying at POR. Our daughter was 4 years old. While I waited in line at the lobby to ask a question she colored a picture of snow white at the coloring table. When I finally reached the counter my daughter came over to me and sweetly asked the cast member helping us to please make sure snow white got the picture she colored for her. The cast member said she would pass it on. We then left and were on our way. That evening a personalized autographed picture of snow white and a small gift were on our bed when we returned from the parks. Our daughter was elated. I wish I would have gotten the cast members name. I went back to the lobby but could not find her.

2. Last year we were checking in on Dec. 27 to Kidani Village. It was the busiest week of the year so we expected a delay in getting our room. When 4 pm came around and we did not have a room I inquired at the counter (very nicely). The cast member apologize for the delay and gave everyone in our party of 10 - 4 extra table service credits and 3 extra FP for 3 days. It was totally unexpected and very appreciated. We ate well that week and had great time on the rides. Our room was available at 4:45pm.
 

Pixie Dust is always a lovely experience.

On our nephew's first trip he really really wanted to meet Peter Pan. It's one of those not advertised M&Gs and as newbies, we weren't doing a great job at those. I approached a cast member at the end of the parade and not only did he escort us to the spot and let us be first, he also handed us golden fast passes.

Last trip, I had my tot on my shoulders and he got sick. Tagged me from hair to shoes right in front of Jedi Training Academy. Took sink baths in the restrooms across the way and prepared to leave the park. CM grabbed us and took us to the shops. Brand new everything and chose things I would never have bought. Tried to switch to cheap and she just kept changing things out. Ended up with more than $200 in free clothes just so we didn't have to miss Fantasmic. And the next day we had a care package of extra clothes for him. I couldn't believe it.
 
Wow! I love stories like these. I just considered it pixie dust when I checked in at 8 am on my last trip and my room was ready!
 
We had some lovely Pixie Dust at POFQ last week. DGS was right on the height restriction at Typhoon Lagoon so we didn't even check him on the Splash Zone height bar - he had played happily there a couple of times with his little sister when a CM approached and asked could he just check his height. On that one he was half an inch over. He was really confused (not upset) as to why he had to leave as he'd been measured at TL (he is autistic) and my DH explained to the CM why he was confused and had a nice chat with him. The CM was really upset and wanted to go see his manager to see what he could do but DH said no the rules are the rules and they all left the area to return to the main pool. Later that afternoon DD had a knock on their door and the CM handed him a package for being such a well behaved young man - a lovely plush Mickey! He was thrilled :)
 
The extra fast passes are genius for customer service at Disney. They do not cost Disney anything, and most customers will be happy knowing they are now able to save even more time by not having to wait in more lines. It is really a win-win.

Great Pixie Dust! I wish they would make all of the 1st floor Moorea rooms standard view. The first floor is more of a bungalow view, than a lake view. :tongue:

Same thing happened to us 2 years in a row. last year power went out, we were on the 11th floor at Contemporary. No elevator, not happy. We went to the desk and they said it was a scheduled outage. I really wasn't looking forward to carrying my 3 year old up 11 flights of stairs. Next day we missed reservations due to monorail problems. Stuck on the track for 30 minutes. It seems Monorail Coral breaks down a lot. I voiced the 2 concerns at the front desk and the CM told me to refresh my MDE. We had 9 Fast passes each for the next 4 days of our stay! That made me forget all about the problems. This past year in September we lost our FOP passes due to Irma. We also lost ROL and star wars desert party. When we asked if there was anything they can do, the CM at the desk gave us 3 FP for all of us for the remainder of our stay. No FOP but after eating at Rainforest for breakfast, on our way out a CM with an ipad asked us how things were going and I said great! But we lost our FOP and she gave us 3 each anytime any ride FP! so we got to ride! We never used all the other ones through the week. Just Saturday and Sunday when the parks got busy again.
 
I got pixie dusted 2 FP's for flight of passage on Monday due to a tech problem with my memory maker. They couldnt fix it in store and said ai needed to calll tech support but offered to let me use there phone so I didnt have to use my UK phone. I was standing in the corner on hold when the manager came over to apologise about my problem with their product and gave us the FP's. And the ride was amazing! It made our day. And they fixed my memory maker too
 
One time as we were leaving Cosmic Ray's we got pixie dusted with a extra FP to use for BTM :)
 
A few years ago we were chatting with a CM who was from NY near our hometown. She was asking all about how things are the same/changed. When we finished talking she asked what we were going to do next. We wanted to meet Buzz and Woody but said we were changing our plans because the line was long and we would come back later. Without asking she let us in the back door, right to where Buzz and Woody were! Great photos and we were so surprised! Fun memory
