6 Disney Secrets You’ll Wish You Never Read

As to #6... I actually witnessed someone pass at MK. In Tomorrowland of all places. It was an older gentleman. The EMT's where working furiously and then they suddenly stopped. When they stopped the family was ushered away by security. The family was in a total daze. As soon as the family was walking away the EMT's started tucking in the blankets around the man and they fastened the belts then they took him away but they were in no hurry.

While all this was going on the security people were trying to keep the crowd moving and not allow people to stand and watch. I saw all this only because we were sitting across from where it was happening, having lunch.

Do I know for a 100% fact that this man died....no...but I work in a medical facility and I see people pass away an a somewhat regular basis. You just know what your looking at. Particularly, based on what the EMT's were doing and not doing.
There is no disputing that many many folks, probably well over 100, have ceased to breath while on Disney property, the thing is they are not pronounced "dead" until they are transferred to a medical facility. So Disney can say that no one has "died" while on Disney property.

As the snopes link above has mentioned, at least one person was pronounced dead on the scene, when his plane crashed in the Epcot parking lot.

I thought I read somewhere here on the Dis that if a person "flashes" while on a ride (like Splash Mountain) that they are escorted out of the parks by security. Is this true?

Honestly, I certainly hope this is true. If they are that stupid and desperate for attention, they should find their jollies somewhere else and not at WDW. So there. ;)

Which is why I clearly stated that this list is not for die-hard Disney fans, only for those who are not in-the-know.

For the sake of accuracy, that's not the reason you stated it wasn't for die-hard fans. This was:

Here are 6 Disney secrets that most poeple have no clue about. If you’re a die-hard Disney fan that still believes in fairy tales and pixie dust, this list isn’t for you.

(bolding mine)

The list really included nothing that a lot of people, even non-die-hard fans, hadn't heard before. And I agree with Shir Khan, #4 was ridiculous.

I've moved this over to the Theme Parks Community Board.

Thanks,

Knox

#2 is also technically wrong. Not all of the buildings on Main Street use forced perspective. The Exposition Hall was built to full scale to block the view of the Contemporary Hotel in the background.

And as others have said, the "Flash Mountain" photo is from Disneyland. So is that supposed "X-Rated" photo of the Partners statue. :)

:sad2: The last two (5 and 6) are sad and you think people would not do things like that. I read that people also do the ''flash'' one on hauntd mansion.
