6 days to go, and baby recovering from surgery!

I'm so excited that December is finally here!! We leave next Thursday 12/7!! But we had to take our 18 month old in for an emergency double hernia surgery yesterday, so I'm paniced now about if we will be able to go, or if I'll get all the packing and running around done now while I'm being a mommy nurse! My little guy wasn't going to be coming along to our first trip to WDW, just my DH and DD5, so I'm hoping all will go well with his recovery so I don't have to worry about leaving him here with Grandma. Just wanted to share!!

I'm sure grandma will take great care of hime, and babies are very tough! He probably needs you now, but in a week, probably (hopefully) all will be better. Have fun!

Wow - so sorry that happened, and so close to your trip. I know how you feel. I remember when DS13 was 18 months old and DH and I planned our first weekend trip away by ourselves. A week before the trip he came down with Chicken Pox! I felt terrible about leaving, but by the time we left, he was on his way to recovery and I knew he would be in good hands with my Mom. I think as long as everything goes well this week, you should go and have a good time. You can call to check on him all the time if it will make you feel better. I hope he has a speedy recovery and you have a wonderful trip with your daughter!
