We will only have regular passes so its only 1 park per day. I am thinking we will need 2 days at Magic Kingdom plus MNSSHP, 2 days at MGM and 1 day at Animal Kingdom and 1 day at Epcot???? Does this sound about right??

I would think you'd only need a half day at MGM. There really isn't all that much to do! But you definitely won't need more than one full day. For the record I LOVE MGM, but we will only be going for one day next trip and even then we will get everything done and have time to ride ToT and RnR twice if we want to!

2 days at MK is about right, 1 at Epcot, 1 full day at AK. It all depends whether you're planning on going back to the hotel to rest or not!

I agree with this. I don't know what anyone could do with 2 FULL days at MGM. I love the park too (although it's my least favorite), but it's a 1-day park - if you've never been there before. For those who have been there many times, it's a half-day park.

Your kids might be a little too young, but if you're going to give another park besides MK a full day, Epcot would be my choice. Or maybe do Epcot for a day and a half with a 1/2 day at the resort pool (or Downtown Dis, or Disney mini golf or something).

What are your kids into? I had thought one day at Epcot would have been enough, but my DD (12) has made that and MGM her favorite parks. For my DS (9) I think Typhoon Lagoon was his favorite part of the trip :rotfl:

Make a plan for sure (make sure to know which parks have EMH and which to aviod crowd wise) but go with a relaxed attitude that things may change and be flexible. This is the main reason I like Park Hopper passes - It makes it so much easier to keep everyone happy by saying "OK, we'll do MK this morning but Epcot at night" :) Really worth the extra $35 pp even if used only twice.

and your #1 priority... RELAX & Enjoy!!!

I normally cover a park each day, but then i do commando my way round :teeth:

I agree with the above, MGM is a half-day park, unless you end up taking lots of re-rides on RnRC and ToT, in which case your day will rapidly disappear. Be sure to do Fantasmic in the evening. :goodvibes:

We usually go for 6 days and allow 2 for MK, 1 for AK, 1 1/2 for EPCOT and 1 1/2 for MGM ( we ride ToT and RNRC ALOT). Since you aren't doing Parkhoppers, I would allow 2 full days for EPCOT and one for MGM.

Have to agree...MGM is definately a half-day park unless you wants to ride ToT and RnR multiple times.

Thanks everyone, we are going on a budget this year. We had planned on park hoppers but then we decided on doing MNSSHP so that was a extra 152.00 that took away from our tickets. I am trying to scrap together enough for the park hoopers but may not be able to do so. But thanks for everyones advice I appreciate it.

For me, MGM is my least favorite (and because I only have 4 park days plus MNSSHP this trip, I dropped it altogether). With 6 days plus MNSSHP, I would do: 2 MK, 2 Epcot, 1 MGM, and 1 AK.

But I love a bunch of the stuff that I see other people say they find boring at Epcot (such as Living with the Land, and Ellen's Energy), and I love really taking my time at World Showcase in each of the countries. I don't enjoy as much at MGM. It is really about what gets you and your family excited (while MGM is my least favorite, if I had a spare day on a low-crowd day, I COULD spend an entire day riding ToT over and over and over and over and over again... :rotfl2: ).

Based on the ages of your kids, I would do:

Magic Kingdom - 2 day from open to close
Epcot - 1 LONG day
MGM - 2 days
Animal Kingdom - 1 day

Magic Kingdom is pretty big and has so many rides that both adult & kids of all ages will enjoy. Now that we go with my daughter, we find that we spend more time there (4 days out of 9). You really have to go to Epcot but, I just don't think it is the best kids park. However, it is big so, you should plan to be there from open to close in order to get everything in. MGM is another one that is fun for all and should be easy to do in 2 days. In fact, if you can do it in 1 day you can add another day to another park. Animal Kingdom is my least favorite but, again, you have to go. Because they close so early each day, you need to plan it for a day when you can be there at opening. That way you can ride everything and see all the shows before closing.

Best Wishes.

I would do 1 day at each park, trying to cover everybody's "must-do's", then decide what the kids really want to go back to for the other 2 days. Also, don't forget Downtown Disney!
