6 day park hopper

Does WDW offer a 6 day hopper? If so can it be purchased online?

No they don't. After the 5 day PH, you can only get 6 and 7 days as PHP's.

You cannot upgrade to what you already have. You can only go up, IE: 4 day to 5 day.

I believe upgrading to a 5-day from a 4-day only adds one additional day to your original 4 days, for a total of 5.

It doesn't mean you can use some of the days on the 4-day and then pay more for another 5 days in addition to the days you have already used. Of course, I could be wrong.

We're having a similar problem trying to figure out the most cost-effective tickets for our stay in October 2004. At this point, we think we want at least 8 days in the parks. We could purchase a 4 day and a 5 day PH (we don't need the water park extras), but that costs more than an Annual Pass. The UPH (length-of-stay) also costs more than the Annual Pass. So, we are probably going to go with the Annual Pass. Which also means we might make an extra trip back the next March (and maybe even summer), staying at a budget resort (Pop Century) instead of AKL.

That is something you can do. You will pay the difference between the remaining days on the 4 day and the new 5 day pass. Or...they will credit the entire amount of the 4 day to the 5 day but, you will have used one day of the new 5 day and you will then have only 4 days left. Where is Golden Oldie when we need her?

Disney will never make you pay to upgrade a ticket and give you back one with a used day on it. The way it should be done - notice the key word "should" - they will credit you for the remaining value of the unused days. That will be deducted from the gate price (no advance discount or DC discount available when upgrading) of the new 5 day hopper.

Sure have lots of "ors" to float, but they would sink.

Obviously I was confused with the "within 7 day" thingie. Tickets are not my forte, but, I do try and depend on you to bail me out.

How much are 5 day PHP at WDW?

Will they simply credit us for one half the cost of the 4 day hoppers on the upgrade?

I'm a little confused. Why don't you get 6 day from Paramount (think they offer bkfst vouchers still with the 6 day?) You also get 3 plus's. I bought from them and used 5 days 1 trip and 2 plus's and remaining day 2nd trip.

Mom2of2 is right - Just did some math and if you buy the 4 day PH online and then use part of it they will credit you with 51.12 for each day left. Then when you exchange it for the 5 day ph you will be charged the full gate price for the 5 day minus the credit.

Advance purchase through Disney - 4 days 204.48

Use 1 day - 51.12

credit left 153.36

5 day ph at gate 254.54 - 153.36 you pay 101.18

Total cost 204.48+101.18 = $305 .66

Buy the 6 day hopper plus from one of the ticket brokers and save some money - Paramount's price is $286 and you get the breakfast voucher. The $15 shippng is per order not per ticket so if you are ordering several it really isn't that much. Even if you never use the plus features you're ahead. There are other brokers who are cheaper on the 6 day pass with no shipping and no breakfast voucher so you have a lot of options.

Please correct me anyone if I have somehow figured this wrong.

www.paramountinternationaltravel.com is the web addy. They have their # listed and you can call and talk to Rosa. The bkfst vouchers are not listed on the web site but ask Rosa about them. Shipping is $15.00 and they usually come FedEx or UPS with a signature confirmation so you will need to be home.

castleri's post is accurate. Well except for being off $1 on the difference between the 5 day price and the credit.

It boils down to what your main priority is. If you want to save money, get a 6 day PHP from one of the ticket wholesalers. Use the park admissions and either throw the remaining plusses away or give/sell them to a friend/relative who will be going down at some later date.

If you only want a PH and don't care how much you have to spend to avoid getting any plusses, do the 4 day PH to 5 day PH upgrade you are planning on.
