Hello- quick question- is it possible to upgrade 5 day hopper passes to 6 day hopper passes if you go straight to customer service upon arriving to the park? Thanks!!

I got different answers from different people over the phone and in person about doing exactly what you are asking, but I was ultimately successful in upgrading froma 5 day PH to a 6 day PH at the cost of only $10 per PH. I went to Guest Services (?) located between the two parks to handle this and the woman initially told me I would have to pay $59 per pass to upgrade them (the 1 day price at the time). I told her that the Disney Box Office had quoted me $10 per, and she went in the back to talk to someone, came back out and agreed to that price.

It was strange - the Disney Box Office offered me an alternative to mail my tickets to them before my visit and they would send me the 6 day PH, but I was nervous about doing that since we were only 2 weeks away from our visit at the time.

One headache was that when they upgraded me, they gave me new PHs and told me to use the current PH I had for the rest of that day. When I returned to the parks, the current PH would let me in the gate, but would not allow me to get FPs - very weird. So my suggestion is to take care of the upgrade before you ever enter the parks.

Be persistent, and they should do it for you for $10 per PH!

That happens with my AP about half the time. Hmm, maybe a third of the time.

Should that happen to anyone in the future, if you have lots of free time, exit and re-enter. Should take care of it, get the system to "really" get your ticket into the system.

Or run to City Hall and get a "fast pass ticket", which means a sort of ticket to use for the FP machines for the rest of that day in that park. Ultimately I didn't have to do that, but I almost had an argument with the CM who was trying to explain it to me (I didn't understand "fast pass ticket", and he didn't understand why I didn't understand, and it took about 5 minutes of back-and-forth, strained conversation with raised eyebrows at each other for us to finally get what we didn't get), so now I tell everyone about this. Gotta make the CM and my pain worth it! He was so sweet, by the way, once it finally came to me what we weren't understanding, and told him of my "eureka" moment, we became momentary best friends, and he gave me a "FP" slip of paper for ANY ride (not just FP rides). I didn't use it, it was so uncrowded, but it was wonderful that he was so sweet!

Anyway, go to city hall, get a fast pass ticket, your problems for that day in that park will be solved. :)
