We woke up to the horrific sounds of a Stitch wake up call (bah!), but since we're going to eat at 'Ohana this morning, all is quickly forgiven. We get showered and dressed and go get the car for the drive over. (Even though DD and DS and I flew, DH drove down which allows us to have the best of both worlds-the short flight down PLUS our own car to drive around in when we need it!) We get to the Poly (ahhhh, so peaceful and calm with the waterfalls and greenery) and check in at the podium. We are seated quickly after they take pics of the kiddos by themselves and then us as a family.

I feel like I need to provide a disclaimer at this point...if anyone books the breakfast at 'Ohana because of the way I rave and rave about it and then you go, "What was that girl thinking? This isn't so great!" well I'm sorry, but this is the awesomest breakfast to me! We do it nearly every trip! Is it just because of the delectable pineapple bread, you ask? Well no.....the possibility of getting a 'water view' with your table and being able to see the Castle and Space Mountain while you eat breakfast, that counts for something too. And the warm woodsy atmosphere of the restaurant itself? Yep, that's a definite plus. And the characters are better here. Honest.

Ok so we're seated at the truly Happiest Place on Earth and I'm eating pineapple bread and all is good. The characters start coming up immediately and it's so nice to see DS5 warm up to them! After several days of avoiding The Incredibles and Power Rangers like they were the plague, DS still loves Goofy and Mickey!

When the waitress came to ask us if we needed anything else, I asked for more pineapple bread. She looked like no one had ever said that before! That stuff is sooo good, I would venture to say it comes very close to a Dole Whip. Really close.

We had planned to just swim today and use Stormalong Bay, but there was a chance of rain. DH and I didn't think we would want to swim in the rain, and I reminded him that the parks get really empty on rainy days and that we might could do a lot in MK if we did that instead. I just happened to have our park tickets, but that's about it. I didn't have anyone's sunglasses, or our ponchos, or water bottles, etc. Could we do it? Could we really do a "pop in" on MK? An unplanned trip across Bay Lake?? We decided to GO FOR IT! We found out that the monorail was having technical difficulties and was STUCK (pity those poor people), so we opted for the ferry.

When we got down to the dock, about 10,000 people had the same idea as us. There was a huge line of people waiting on the next ferry. We had fun watching the family behind us play with a new Buzz transformer they had bought. They were Hispanic and I couldn't understand much of what they were saying, but I sure could read the Dad's body language when he threw his hands up on this toy! Bless his heart! Actually his kids could do it much better and faster than he could (this toy could be a spaceship and then transform into an airplane or a boat or whatever). It was funny to watch. A ferry boat came and went, already full. We hoped we could get on the next one! About 10 minutes later another ferry comes along and gratefully, we climb on.

We get to MK around 10:00 or so. This felt so, sooo...adventurous to me! Like we were breaking the rules! Everyone knows you're supposed to get up at the crack of 6:00 a.m. to get to MK on time (even if it's not Early Entry). But here we were, dragging in after a leisurely breakfast and it was really cool! DH was very excited since he didn't get to do much at MK the other day (which was his arrival day), so we headed straight for his favorite, Adventureland. We all rode the Aladdin's Magic Carpets first and it was a blast! DH got squirted by the naughty camel and DD9 nearly laughed herself into a fit! It was too funny! Then we got a FP for Jungle Cruise (DH's all time favorite and went to the Tiki Room (My all time favorite). We did Jungle Cruise after this and we had a FUNNY guide. I laughed out loud several times and we all enjoyed it. After this, we split up so DH and DD9 could ride Big Thunder Mountain.

DS5 was anxious to ride Peter Pan, so he and I went to Fantasyland and got a FP for that (2 hours later!!). As we made our way through the heavy sweaty throngs of people, I realized why we always came so early! Ha! Nice to have that reminder. So while we waited for our FP for Peter Pan, we rode Snow White, 30 minute wait! DH and DD9 met back up with us after riding BTMR, so we all did It's a Small World together (30 minute wait-boy how nice it was to ride this as a WALK ON just 2 days before). Then we did the Philharmagic show and it's one of our favorites. We still had a few minutes to wait for our time for Peter Pan, so I got us a nice cold bottle of water and also got DS5 a little Buzz toy and we sat in the shade and enjoyed a little break. While we were sitting there, the drink cart where we got our water ran out of drinks!! The guy yells out, "No more drinks!" and a lady standing in line says, "Even water??" Um yea lady, water is a drink. He confirms that yes, he's out of water AND drinks and everyone walks away looking thirsty and mad. Thank goodness we had our water already! I snuck it into my big tote bag so no one would get any crazy ideas.

Ok finally time for Peter Pan. I love Peter Pan and so does DS5. Funny to think the first few times he rode this, he hated it-it was too dark! Now he adores it.

DH and DD wanted to do Hall of Presidents, but it was closed for some reason. So they did BTMR again. We all met back up and did TTA which is one of our favorites (have I really said that about every ride? Well it's true). It was 4:00 or 5:00 by this point and we wanted to get back to the room and rest up for our dinner plans.

And I had a Dole Whip float today. Hee!!!!

Oh and it hadn't rained a bit!

Next up: Dinner at Spoodles.

I know I felt the same way.......no one could have my ice.......thanks so much for your report.......and we loved too Philarmagic too......it was an awesome show.......thanks again
